  1. Thanks for the inquiries everyone. It's now gone...... Thanks again! Phillip
  2. I've got a Sirius receiver for sale. It's less than a year old and is complete w/ antenna, power cable, IP bus cable and paperwork. It works perfect or your money back. I'll take $20 shipped. Thanks, Phillip
  3. If you're looking for a Sirius add on, I just removed mine and I'll sell it cheap. Let me know.
  4. I just activated a new radio and had no trouble with the $77 a year code. It was a total of $82 and some change with tax.
  5. Hello all. I'm thinking about switching to XM from Sirius. Does the XM give more info than the Sirius unit? I am very limited as to what info I get out of the Sirius. Could I possibly get a pic of what XM displays??? Thanks, Phillip
  6. Forgot to mention that you can also have the remote hooked up as well. The only problem with hooking it up, it that the unit will stay powered up even when not in use, you have to turn it off and on using the remote. It will however go off after the vehicle is turned off.
  7. I've checked everything. I've replaced the cable with one that works on another monitor. Pioneer says it's a video chip problem. I guess I'm going to have to send it in. It's under warranty, so I hope it's no big deal.
  8. It's a video cable from Radio Shack. I tried another monitor with the same cable and it displays fine. I guess I've got a bad input or something on my D1. Any Ideas?
  9. I just installed a P-90 DVD changer with my D1. I'm using the vieo input od the D1 for a monitor. The images on movies appear to have a ghost like shadow on them. The Nav screen etc is mormal, no shadows. I've tried different color settings etc. What is the problem? Can someone help? Thanks, PHillip
  10. Just wanted to give evryone a update for future reference. After chatting with another member I got my XDV-P90 connected to my D1 and it works flawlessly. Below is how I hooked it up. P-90 was bypassed (grounded brake wire) P-90 to D1 using IP-BUS cable P-90 Front Video out to D1 Video in Using Composite RCA Video Cable P-90 Rear Video and Rear Audio out using Composte RCA Cables supplied with my W6100 Pioneer Flip Down Monitor This setup WILL allow you to watch Video on both screens at once WITHOUT hooking up a AV-BUS cable. The remote that came with the monitor will also
  11. OK. I'm trying to hookup the Changer and I get 3 different answers from Pioneer Tech support. I need some advice/help. I want to control the changer through the head unit, and watch video on a flip down screen and if possible on the front screen as well. Do I set the changer to IP Bus mode and connect the IP Bus cable to the head unit as well as the RCA jacks or do I connect the RCA jacks to the monitor. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Phillip
  12. OK everyone. Sorry for the late reply. I had to leave town for a bit. After talking with the tech @ crutchfiled we decided that the truck was wired for a sub, but there wasn't one installed. I have the head unit & sirius completly installed and it works and looks great. It appears that the mod/hack has worked flawlessly too. I will work on the changer tomorrow and have the monitor installed next week. Thanks for all your help. I'll add pics when finished.
  13. OK. Now, What aboutthe other smaller harness that was on my factory radio? Please tell me it's not a subwoofer. If it is, what do I need to do?
  14. Holy Snikeys! I just pulled my stereo to find two factory harnesses. What does that mean? Also, I searched for the VSS wire and found that it should be the gray/black wire in location 5, but it's not. location 5 is only a black and location 14 is gray / black. So which one is it? Thanks, Phillip
  15. Thanks again. Yeah, after looking at it, it will have to be mounted up front, I've got all my wires soldered and I'm off to the races! Wish me luck
  16. Yeah, that's what I meant by the antenna wire. I also forgot to mention that I'll have a video screen hooked up as well. I though I might make a seperate tap for power and ground to ground the Sirius, DVD changer and Flip down monitor. I'm not going to mount the monitor, I'm going to leave that up to a professional. I haven't figured out where I'm going to mount the Sirius either, probably under the back seat or against the back firewall.
  17. Yeah there is. Can I also use this ground to ground out the brake wire and the blue antenna wire that I move into the empty slot? Also, will I need to run seperate power and ground wire for my Sirius rec.? I was thinking of running seperate hot and ground wires for my Sirius and DVD changer, I guess from the fuse box.
  18. One more question. Can I use the ground coming out of the OEM adapter or do I need to add another ground? Thanks, Phillip
  19. Hello all. I got my stuff in today and may start my install in the morning. I found the post to locate my VSS wire in the harness, but I can't find the reverse sensor wire. Can someone tell me where it is? Thanks in adavance, Phillip
  20. Thanks for the replies guys. I think a $100 is fairly reasonable for a professional job. Phillip
  21. Hello all. I'm new to this site and I've spent 2 days reading posts. I must say there is a ton of info here! I'm getting ready to install a enetrtainment system in my 06 SuperCrew and have a few questions. Many I've already read posts on and answered myself. I bought the install junk from Crutchfiled, antenna adapter, harness, etc. I'm installing a D1 that I will mod Sirrius XDVP-90 changer AWR-6100 flip down monitor PAC-SWI-ps remote I'm really thinking about having the monitor installed professionally everything else I'm not worried about. Any thoughts or help with the
