  1. I have SW330. I was just curious as to whether there might be a newer version...
  2. Hi all, We all know or have seen the possibilities regarding the map updates. They are awesome! I must admit that I was a bit scared when it came to updating a working system, but getting hold of recent maps got the better of me. I updates them using the directions given on this forum and lo and behold: I am now using the 2009.06 maps! But, can such updating be done for the bluetooth software as well? I did search the forums before posting, by the way... Thanks! Eric
  3. Hello all, I am trying to get the AVIC-F710BT systems (European version) to boot to WinCE, but so far I have not been succesfull. I have read all the posts that concern using the testmode.zip but they all did not do the trick. My system does not boot into WinCE mode... Things I've tried so far: 1. Use two different SD cards, formatted FAT and FAT32 2. Put the two folders on it, once without modifying the MapDBsomething text file and once where I did modify it (adjusting the Area code to EW instead of UC) 3. I even copied the data.zip file from the 3.0 update to the SD card
  4. Hi there, OK, just checked out the files and immediately wondered which ones to download... Example: CzechRep_NAVTEQ_2008_Q4_090310.fbl CzechRep8.3Ceda_2009.06_090730.fbl CzechRep8.3TA_2009.02_090602.fbl CzechRep8.3TA_2009.06_090722.fbl So which one should I get? I assume the *NAVTEQ_ one? But then, the version number is 2008.Q4 and not 06.2009 as this original post mentioned... Anyone care to shed some light on this? Thanks in advance!
  5. Thank you all for replying! @joegr: The thing about the multi-zone system is exactly what Pioneer told me. But then I wonder why they put this text on their website (placed with the specs for the F710). The above, plus the fact that under related products they show the AVD-W7900 screens, made me believe that what I want is a possibility. But I have to agree that the system not having an AV-out port is the biggest hint for it not being able to play video on alternate displays... @pkbristol: The F710 does not play DVDs. I mentioned in my post "playing films" and by that meaning
  6. Hello all, Me and my family are planning a trip to the Czech Republic which'll take place next year and we're now talking about getting ourselves two dvd-player screens for the headrests so our two boys can enjoy some Bob the Builder action from the backseats... As said in the subject, we own an AVIC-F710BT device and we have our eyes set on the Pioneer AVD-W7900 screens. So I contacted Pioneer and asked if those screens could be combined with the navigation unit. The told me that I would not be able to send video data to the screens and use the navigation myself. So now I am confu
