  1. The F10BT is the same as the Z110BT but the Euro/Australian version.
  2. On my f10bt I am yet to get to vss wire hooked up (awaiting canbus adapter). I have noticed that the road angle is always flat on the 3d calibration screen. Is this Reading derived from the other sensors and hence without the speedpulse cannot do it, or is there a fault with the sensor? Rob
  3. I tested this today, and was able to use a photo taken earlier (a week ago) and it did work. Yes, you must select it from the Camera Roll (not an album), and for some reason it took a long while to appear on the head unit, but it (eventually) showed up. If they wanted to really make it useful, they would implement (a) being able to click on the ADDRESS of a contact to send the search results to the maps app, to then return the address location ( use the full google maps functionality (rather than the cut-down embedded version in their app) Rob
  4. Confirmed it does come up, but just plotting the route and accepting it is not enough to enable it. Either you have to wait a while, or actually be moving on the route. I tried it in my garage, and it didn't enable. I then checked when I was 5 minutes down the road, and it did come up as an option. Rob

    NAV View

Can anyone confirm that the "Street View" in Nav works for them? I can select 2D, 3D and Rear View, but Street View is greyed out (ie turn by turn text instructions). I am suspecting another limitation of the AVIC-F10BT Australian version just for some stupid reason, but just checking in with others first. Thanks. Rob
  6. Install of the AVIC-F10BT Australian Model (same as the AVIC-Z110BT - just cut down features) in a 2005 Audi S4, with my own custom splash screen. Please excuse the photo quality - was with my iPhone
  7. RE: SD/USB You may want to check how your device is formatted. FAT16 will have less capability than FAT32 in terms of maximum files and file size. You'll have to google to find the exact limits of each format.
  8. In the Appendix (of the Australian Manual) it has a little diagram called "Example of Hierarchy". Basically, it seems to indicate that it drills down top level, then each subfolder level in order. Does that seem to hold true for you? It's on page 153 of the Australian user manual. (Manual available on this page: http://www.pioneer.com.au/Products/Navigation/In%20Dash%20Navigation/AVIC%20F10BT.aspx) Also as per the manual (page 150) it appears that for SD you are limited to 300 folders, and total of 2,500 files. Maximum playback time for USB/SD is 7.5hrs (450 minutes) Importantly
  9. Count yourself lucky it works for the phone. The Australian version has NO voice control at all (it appears). Maybe our accent is too hard for it to understand? Or it is an annoying marketing ploy to release another model with this added functionality by Pioneer Australia? Turbo
  10. I just had one of these installed yesterday, and there are a number of major differences to the AVIC-Z110BT which I did not expect. The major one is there is no voice control functionality at all (the voice button only serves 2 purposes - repeat of last NAV instruction and MUTE). There are a number of other minor annoyances (lack of RDS station names), even though it clearly has support for RDS-TMC for the traffic channel updates to the NAV which works fine. Does anyone else (in Australia) have one yet (they weren't supposed to be in the country for another 2 weeks apparently), so I ma
