I did very little research on that. Found a site caled naviextras.com. Supposedly you can buy a livetime licence there. Nominally you should be able to install the licence. BUT looking at the list of supported devices, pioneer is not listed. So I organized a licence file to have a look at it. I think the devicetype must be supported by licence provider because the licence is bound to the device.

Hi,there is a board for troubleshooting here too. Did you have a look? Did you try to reset your unit? Probably some preferences became corrupt. Did you apply the latest update from pioneer site? If you see the splashscreen, most likly the unit is technically O.K.

O.K.: First: Stay cool! If you can't do it, it's just fine, give him the unit back and find something you are better at. Be aware, that you can easily mess up the unit so it won't work at all. I somewhat get the impression, that you are afraid of the guys you made the deal with. Right now I suppose there is a good chance for you to end up in a big mess, so think about minimizing the loss. I suggest you download the files, provided in the link, get your maps ready and then you try to find a Polish or Russian forum - I suppose you know Russian better than English. There are are quite a few Russians working on the AVICs...

just follow the instructions given in the link above... Living in Ireland, you should be able to find someone who speaks both, English and Polish If you have maps you, voices and other stuff (see explanation given in the post, the link leads you to...) you should be fine

Here you can get a full flash including testmode.. let a friend explain to you: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=26699 search for maps on this forum. Safest for you, would be, to buy the regular update from pioneer. To be honest, I hope your unit is not a stolen one.

Hi Dpdurst, your mod looks really great! Would love to test it, but I am overwelmed by the pletora of themes. So I have a couple of questions, but first my data - you must be frustrated looking at other threads : Firmware 3.02 regular update Right now IDTs new Mod is installed AVIC -F900BT European 1. Do I need to unzip the GFX-Folder? 2. Does the huge amount of data you serve reduce the reagibility of the system? Does stuff get slower? 3. Can I copy all teh themes, or should I delete some, befor I install? Last not least, the stuff with the flag looks really good. tha

yor summertime-problem can be fixed easily. Just go to GPS-tab and on the bottom right there are the time settings. You have to check "automted timeadjustment" or so - guess you'r German, so it'll say "automatisch anpassen" oder so
