  1. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... port?tab=B here is the link (under the updates tab) save the update to your desktop, unzip (decompress) the file, drag the two folders to your SD card. Pop the SD into the front of the avic before you start your vehicle (unplug any usb devices) and turn the vehicle on. Update takes about ten minutes. My Avic is working today after the update and seems to be a little more responsive and faster overall. Worth taking the 15-20 minutes to complete the update to get your unit back up and running.

I did get my unit to update but still had some issues selecting the voice languag

  5. Hello, I have had my F700bt installed and working properly for about 7 months and today I went to start the car and got the splash screen but then the unit just goes black. A couple times I have been able to hit the menu or map and the screen comes back and I tried adjusting the screen (brightness) and its at 10. Then upon any restart of the vehicle the splash screen is displayed then the black screen. I do not have any software updates that I have attempted to upload and the unit and it currently has 2.0 software (which came with the unit) I aslo checked all the wires on the wiring harnes
