  1. Here is the link for to download the latest free version. It is version 2.008 there is also a readme for the changes. This does not include map/poi/bluetooth firmware updates. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/GPS-Navigation/AVIC-F700BT Click Firmware & Software and you can downold the software and put it on an sd card and follow the PDF instruction sheet to update your device. The update takes in the neighborhood of 40 minutes to complete. If you are willing to pay for the update and want to get the lastet version that includes updated maps, updated point of intrest data
  2. Yes if you are running 1.X or 2.X firmware the upgrade will get you a new base CE Image, 3d map view, updated maps, updated POI database, lane indicators on the GPS, much improved screen tap resonse, some modifed default settings. If you are already running a 3.X build you pretty much get a new base CE image, new maps and updated POI. The card also includes a Bluetooth Firmware update. Are there ways to get the 4.0 or 3.0 software free yes, are they legal no. The updates are cumulative if you get the 4.0 you get everything that is included in the 3.0.
  3. Yes 2.0008 is the latest verion that is free. If you are running a 2.X build I would recomend getting the 4.0 update (they are cumulative so the much larger 3.0 update is included.) If your are running 3.0 I would think think hard before putting down 100 dollars. I personally did get the 4.0 update and am quite happy with it but if you are currently using 3.0 I could see why some people would not want to get it.
  4. If you are in the USA the latest one is 4.0. It can be purchased here. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130SD200FM/Pioneer-CNSD-200FM.html?tp=28053&tab=review&mode=review This has been covered a bunch on the forum, the updates cost is to cover the licenseing cost of the TelAtlis Map system and the Parrot bluetooth system. Those two pieces of teh firmware are licensed from said companys for a certain price per unit. 4.0 includes the base firmware update, a bluetooth firmware update, and the maps update. You also get everything that was new in the 3.0 firmware since they are cumulative.
  5. Can you please provide a link? Are you in the US/Canada or Europe?
  6. This is what you would need. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130SD200FM/Pioneer-CNSD-200FM.html?search=cnsd-200fm&skipvs=T This update includes 2 diffrent sd cards. If you have not upgraded to 3.0 you need to install SD Card A, and B. If you did upgrade to 3.0 as you stated you have you should only need card B. Card B contains the 4.0 software as well as a fimware update for the Bluetooth module.
  7. F-series model: F-90bt system firmware V4.0 BT firmware 360.3 Phone make/model: HTC Surround Ease of connection: 3/5 took three tries. Phone book transfer: Works fine but you have to reboot the radio (turn car on/off) between intial pair and phone book download. Sound quality: Good Dislike: This phone does not say you have got a message when you get a text. My previous phone a Razor XX did.
  8. @ v12 You are running a very old firmware the latest is 4.000100. This is not a free upgrade. I actually just upgraded mine from 3.0 to 4.0. Here is the info I think you are looking for- The latest free upgrade is avaiable at the link you posted the 2.00900 this is the latest upgrade and is free (the entire 2.0 version is free and 2.00900 is the latest version of the 2.X series. Version 3.0 and 4.0 upgrades are not free. The reason they are not free is because both the v3 and v4 include map updates from a third party called Tel Atlis since these are not free to Pioneer they
  9. FYI - This build of the bluetooth firmware 360.3 is included on SD Card B of the CNSD-200FM. No notice as to what is changed improved/new phone compatibilty.
  10. Where on pioneer's site do you see a 3.01 update? What does it fix/change? I thought that 3.01 was only for the X series.
