  1. I'm getting a Droid X on Monday. We'll see where this takes this project..............
  2. If I knew, I'd gain about 13 days of my life back of off and on troubleshooting.......and I tried a different phone today (Non-windows mobile) and it still reboots. It gave me a jit.exe error in a windows error box in the middle of the screen for about 15 seconds and finally rebooted. I think my old F500bt and my current x910bt hate me..... No one has the answer. The slimey bastard who I spoke to at Pioneer's tech support (While talking over me and with a condescending tone) the last time told me 2 weeks ago, that "Obvouisly, Pioneer does not have a product that suits your needs". I was
  3. Is your phone Bluetooth enabled and trying to connect, then you get the error?
  4. Still an issue with me. I spoke to Pioneer's tech support last week. They told me to install the BT ver 2. then back to ver. 3. Well, it broke the BT all together and then I had to perform a factory reset. For all of those who recommended I get a new phone. Well, I performed a factory reset and persoanl data reset, BT paired my CEO's Brand new droid phone (less than 1 day of being used) and WALLAH! It rebooted the the X910bt AGAIN! Anyone, any hacks, mods, sacraficed chickens, regardless, I'm willing ot try anything at this point. $600+ Brand New out of the box and still no answers f
  5. In 2 other posts, all the other users were pointing at my phone. Today I tried my co-workers Motorola MOTOW 775 (Predecessor to the Razor) and it did the EXACT SAME THING.I'm ruling out phones and am calling Pioneer tonight. If they can't get it right this time (2nd time this has happened, 1st time was with the F500BT), I'm selling it and am never purchasing another AVIC again. Pioneers tech response last time was and I qoute: "We found nothing wrong with the unit"..
  6. Has anyone encountered this? When BT is enabled on my phone, once the phone pairs with the AVIC, the AVIC reboots? And, it will continue to reboot until I disable the BT on the phone. I tried this with (4) different phones: 2 Winmobile (2003 & 6.1and several 6.5 modded ROMS 1 Nokia Flip (At&T) 1 Samsung Instinct (Sprint) I've been talking to some people in the Fseries forum who've helped, but the same issue exists. I don;t wanna spend hours at a Verizon store trying out new phones in the parking lot (But I may have to at this point), but this EXACT same thing happened w
  7. With the MM ROM, same deal. No change. I'm tired of trying diff ROM's. Moving to diff phones now...
  8. Trying Mighty ROM (MM) as we speak. I'll post the results later. I'll hold off form calling in my order for the the 3W "motorola man bag": http://www.3wattgurus.com/products/analog/index.html
  9. I've tried every native setting under the sun with my stock 910BT and in my winmobile phone. Here's a funny, yesterday, I selected disable automatic sync within the "select Specific Devices " entry, it had me to re-pair my phone and then gave a windows error box from teh WinCE shell stating "Jit.exe error" and immediately rebooted. It lasted about 2 seconds and poof. Same issue. I'm gonna try another phone (band new) from the store. I don't care if it's a Motorola bag phone, as long as it pairs up, I'll be walking around with a "Man Bag" like on Miami Vice (Hey, I'm 6'7" & 250 lbs, who's g
  10. I've found a pattern that occurs 80% of the time. The AVIC has to be already on and listening for the BT connection. The BT on the phone cannot be enabled before the AVIC boots. After a sucessful connection is made and I've reached my destination (turning off my truck), I must also disbale BT on my phone. If I leave it enabled and start the truck (AVIC as well), as soon as the BT connection is made, it reboots. However, if I disbale BT on my phone, reboot it, wait until the AVIC boots, then enable BT on my phone, my success rate increases. It's like both the WinMobile and WinCE both regi
  11. You may have bent the small wire coupler. This evening, I tried the mod it works GREAT!!
  12. Update: Today I discovered if I turned on Serial Port with in BT settings, it will pair successfully and stay connected. Each one of the ROM's I've been downloading, these settings were different as a default. However, after shutting down the truck and coming back to it (with the phone still having BT enabled) once it pairs back to the AVIC, it rebots again. But if I reboot the phone after this happens, it connects succefully again. I called the wife from teh truck and said "HA!". Not out of the woods yet, but I do see daylight....
  13. $549 @ Amazon. There is a Z110BT out there on Amazon, but it's used (not refurb). And the seller won't answer questions about the unit. And, they've got a lack luster seller rating.....
  14. Sorry if seemed vexed earlier. I just want it to work. Thx
  15. Yes, Numerous. Same result. All, checkout my post last year with my old F500BT. Same issue, different phone. I had a XV-6700 (Tried stock ROM Win mobile 5, 6.1, and 4 versions of 6.5) back then. Tried with my current phone (Winmobile 6.1 stock Verizon ROM) b4 I sold it. The post is called: "My F500BT keeps rebooting after BT pairing with my phone"
  16. Ok, I need to explain FULLY what I was doing (Taking off the dunce cap). All the while I was thinking I was searching for BT devices from my phone, I never had "Allow other BT devices to discover me" enabled. Once I enabled it, the AVIC was able to detect it, but rebooted as soon as the initial connection was made. Now, I get home and attempt the connection using an old PPC-6600 running Winmobile 2003. Same issue. I break down and tell the wife ( I had to use her Blackberry to test with) was has transpired and as I told everyone b4, she laughed at me. Doubled over, the whole bit.
  17. Co workers left. I tried again using the "jetwaremobile" BT app. The AVIC actually found the device! But immediately rebooted afterwards....
  18. I apologize. After clocking the time with doing it, it was 10 seconds. I tried it again and same results. I'm about to try with a co-workers phone here in a few.
  19. The discovery mode on my phone only last for about 4-5 secs. I'm gonna try a co-workers phone (Non-Winmobile) and reply back as well.
  20. The non-Winmobile phones could be found via the AVIC search. However, the WinMobile ones couldn't. And yes, I try to make them discoverable at the exact same time (usually 1-2 seconds on the phone b4 on the AVIC) by simultaneously pressing both buttons. Tonight, I'm gonna try my old PPC 6600 running Win Mobile 2003 (verizon) and see if it continues like it did on the 500BT.
  21. @ Dougthug, I'm glad you brought that up, b/c that's what I failed to mention. I cannot search for the phone via the "Search for the Phone" option. Nor will the phone find it if I select the 1st option. Same issue as I had b4 with the 500BT with the other phones. I have to use the 3rd option down "Pair from Device". I tried a reg hack on XDA just now and it didn;t help neither. It tells my phone that it's not a PDA, but a smartphone and should allow better communication between the phone and other BT devices (as others had noticed in that forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthre
  22. I'm headed back to the the sites for more info. WIll the MS stack for my phone also be ver. 500? BTW, this morning immediately after setting up the relationship for the first time it rebooted. After the reboot, it re-connected to my phone and I made a call back to my office (left a VM to check clarity on microphone, which was pretty good). Turned off the truck, started it, the unit booted and recognized the BT was enabled on my phone and rebooted. Same as b4. Aye-ye-ye...
  23. Well, it connected and was successful upon the initial drive to a pitstop along the way home. After turning off the truck (unit as well), leaving the proximity for 30 minutes and returning. I start the truck, the unit boots up recognizes that the BT is enabled on the phone and reboots the unit. I tried the reg hack but not the BT file swap yet. I'll try that tonight and report back tomorrow.
  24. All the phones, after the pairing takes place, soon after (If not immediately) the unit reboots. And, it would continue to reboot as long as it re-connects to the phone if the phone has BT enabled. If I turn off the BT on the phone, the unit stops rebooting. For each one of the Win Mobile phones, I hard reset them both and deleted the entry in the unit. Last night, I got the x910BT installed (new) and paired up the phone (and Sync'd the contacts) and it stayed connected for the duration that I was in the garage. This morning, I go crank up the truck, turn on BT on the phone, place the phon
