I manage to solve the problem. When I update to the 2010 software/map last year, I did a copy of the content onto a USB stick Started in Testmode and went into control panel. Removed all SD, usb cards etc. There was a utility where I could format the drive. I had first to unmount it. Can't remember the name of it, but it was one of the last icons there. After format, I connected the usb stick and copied that content back onto "My flashdrive" and restarted. Knock on wood: It has worked for a couple of days now, including 2011 software update. Hi. My F900 started, as many others to reboot but I have tried to delete the GPS files with no luck. I have looked around on the disk and found that on APL2/iGO there are several files called C...something. When I got the unit 2 years ago I did a full backup and I can't see these files on this backup. Also I can not delete these files. When I try to delete the disk it fails on these files, and when I try to copy my back onto the disk, if says there are not enough space. My thoughts would be that my disc has become corrupt and I need to format. Can anyone guide me to this?

HI again. I had a HTC Tytn II and that worked fine. My TP2 looks like its responding faster than my TytnII unit.

HI. My unit was bought 4-5 months ago, so I have the v3.

Works great after some more testing. If my phone rings and I'm in the AV screens, I can't receive but if i turn to the map screen during the call, I can answer it. This is OK for me.

I did the upgrades and tried it this morning and it looks like it works great. Can now receive on other screens than the GPS/map. My Avic receives my incoming call sound and I can hang up without any problem and my music returns. GREAT. I will test this further.

Is this fix only for the Verizon TP2s or also for the HTC phones (european)

Hi. I have managed to figure out the Testmode, Speed cam and nav mute butten, after some testing and failing with formating the SD card. Anyhow: Is there a way to make the F900BT start from the last used device (radio, cd....). When I use my radio, turn off the car and then start it up again, the radio starts but my Usb stick takes over when the system is finished starting up. I have a 32GB usb stick full of mp3s and when the system start up this stick is the last device detected.... and then it start playing mp3s. Is there a way to turn off this function? Yes, sorry. This unit is Norwegian/EU. Do anyone know what file I can manipulate to change/edit the cams? Some cams are giving me the warning sound, but other isn't.

Hi. I have installed the free 1 year speed cam update on my F900BT v3.01.... and it works somewhat OK. Some of the speed cameras is making that strange sound, but not all and they are the same type of camera. Is there a file on my unit that I can modify so that everyone will make the same alert? I have made a backup of my system, so I have a copy I can work with. Do anyone have a better warning sound than the EU V3 version? Tried searching, but could not fiend what I was looking for.

Hi. Format your SD card using Start->Run and type CMD (enter) Now type format (driveletter:) /fs:fat32. The drive letter is the drive letter your SD card has. Example if you can enter the SD card using g: then type: format g: /fs:fat32 Now copy the Testmode.zip onto your SD card and try again. I did format my SD card using windows and checking that it was set to FAt32, but it didn't work untill this.

I just have some general questions for my 900BT unit. 1 - Do I understand correctly that the OS and Firmware are not stored on My Flash Disk when I access via TestMode? 2 - Is the OS and Firmware stored on a different flash unit? 3 - If I delete/format My Flash Disk, do I only delete the GUIs but not the OS. Can I then access it using Testmode and copy my backup back into the unit? OR is there any literature explaining the workings of this unit? Damn it. Such a easy solution: I needed to format my SD card again using Dos: Format (drive): /fs:fat32 comand. Thought I should give it a last try today, and then I remembered something about formating it in Dos. I have formated it in Fat32 via WinXp using both Quick and std format, but with the same result. Now I have a backup of MyFlashDrive. Will start working on the Nav-Mute button fuction. Also a splash screen and a different sound when I'm getting close to a speed camer. Anyone have this allready?

Hi. I have a 900Bt brand new with V3.0xx software installed a week ago and everything works fine. Want to do a backup, but can't get the Testmode to work. I have tried Testmode_v2.3 etc, but I only get a Storagecard/TestMode/Copytool.exe error. Starting to think this unit is imune for this kind of workaround. My goal is 2 things: 1 - Copy MyFlashDisk for backup (I have the emulator installed and want to toy around) 2 - The nav-mute button is very important. Don't want to do much else at this point, but the two mentioned tasks. I live in Norway (if that has anything to do with it

I only have corrupt Testdata_v2.3_zip file. Can anyone send me the correct?

I copied the Testdata2.3.zip and MiTACAP and unzipped them into my empty SD card. When I put the card into 900bt and started the car, it looks like it's trying to start WinCe, but I get an error for the copy-file. I can push OK, but nothting happens. I know the file is present. I would really like to do a backup of the system and install the mute-button.

Hi. Can anyone make a package that I can copy into a SD card that contains all the nessesary files and the navigation mute button descibed in the top topic in this page? I have a brand new 900BT that I got installed yesterday and it works great. I live in Norway (if that matters). This is the only thing I want to change + camra warnings but thats free for 1 year via Pioneer. Regards Ragnar
