Hi all,my Z120bt will be in mute everytime I start the car and it's hot. so, this only happens on hot summer days. Its done it from day one. It's been installed for a year now. What I end up doing is tilting the screen out using the eject sd card function, then point a vent on it so the cold AC can dool it down. Soem times it will take as long as 10 minutes before the mute will tuen off. It took me a while to figure out it was the heat. Does anyone else have this problem? -John

Hi all, I just put my system in a few weeks ago and I'm having a strange problem. Every now and then, when the system boots up, its in full mute mode or ATT mode. As I drive for a while (10 to 15 minutes) it will start jumping in and out of att to normal sound then it will be ok. I have a 2010 camaro and I used a metra install kit which has the interface for the steering wheel controls. I also have the in motion hack. I didn't do the 'mute' pin switch as i needed that wire. I added a pin to the proper hole to do the hack. Anyone else seeing this problem? -John

HI all, Just got my new Z110BT for my camaro and I'm installing it today. I dabble in hacking and was wondering if the addon external unit connection have a published communication protocol. I'm interested in building some little obd devices that would let me show vehicle dynamics on the screen. I can do this using the AV input but it would be even better if I could use the AVIC touch screen to control the device. Anyone have any input on this? thanks -John

HI All, Just signed up here on the advice of a buddy of mine. I just bought a 2010 Camaro and I'm looking to replace the factory stereo. So I'm here seeking advice so I can make an educated choice. From the factory the car has: steering wheel controls for all audio ipod/usb interface bluetooth phone bluetooth audio ONstart XM I want to keep all the steering wheel controls.
