Jarryd, i had the same issue where i could not load testmode when i first got the unit. make sure you have the latest testmode as i found the one wit mitacap didnt work for me either. hope this helps. thanks,

yeah no worries... i havent got the original one but i have got the v3 firmware which i downloaded off one of the topics.... the file is for the x910bt but it worked on mine... will this be fine?? if it is how will i send it to ya?

UPDATE!!! hehe you were right the problem was the device type. i had used your v3 update already hence the reason why it was set to eu to begin with. just went to sys.txt and changed last 2 digits to "UC" and everything apart from tmc works. tmc is not such a biggie for me so im not upset at all. i dont blv the tmc is worth the extra 800 bucks i would have spent on an aus unit. thanks heaps 34by151 you have been a pleasure to deal with and hope to see more of your updates soon. tobsta, any luck?? i have purchased US version and i can get aus maps to work, however when aus maps are running the bluetooth doesnt work.. it is a bit annoying and i havent been able to find a decent solution. what i do is put both aus maps and us maps on. when i want maps i go into testmode and load aus maps and sacrifice bluetooth and swicth back when i dont need maps. did you end up finding the posts about the eu version i cant seem to find it... if you found it a link would be appreciated. thanks,

hi 34by151, Having some issues. i have extracted your updated to sd and have copied as per your instructions and it hasnt worked and is now constantly restarting. i have clicked on map when its loading up and it seems to restart when "MAINSCREEN LOAD" comes up. any idea why this is happening? Fortunately for me, (unlike the other guy) i have made a backup and was able to revert my actions but i would love for this update to work. stupid question do i delete the old apl2 folder or just overwrite the files which are included in the latest update? thanks,

Just wanted to know if anyone has installed the Aus maps, which you can purchase from Pioneer for $270, successfully with all functions working on a US version of the f900bt? I am thinking of purchasing maps off pioneer but i want to know if it is gonna create issue with the bluetooth as it is now with the cracked maps. please help! thanks,

34by151...still no luck with the bluetooth update. when i go to bluetooth settings it says version not found and then when i go to upload either 2.9 or 3.3 it tells me an error occured. i dont know what to do i just want bluetooth to work with maps i dont care about tmc/msndirect...grrrrr any more hints/tips?

i have US version with 3.0 firmware. how do i disable tmc as i beleive this is causing my bluetooth issues aswell? i dont want/need tmc i just want maps and bluetooth working. atm i can use bluetooth when i have US maps installed.. but when i place aus maps with cracked ezrider i cant use bluetooth. if someone can tell me how to disable tmc/msndirect it will be much appreciated!!

ive got us version f900bt with aussie firmware and maps as per your guide but i cant get bluetooth to work now. ive seen replies about turning TMC off as this is causing the bluetooth to crash and was just wondering how i turn it off. Sorry if this question seems a bit silly but i need some help. thanks in advance

i have since updated the firmware version 2.009 off the pioneer.com.au website. i think i have the maps i just cant seem to get into testmode. i have downloaded the version off the FAQ page. after loading on to sd card, inserting and powering on nothing happens just starts up as normal. Are there different versions for test mode? the directory structure which i have copied on to the sd card is as follows Root ? Testmode ?MiTACAP Any help would be appreciated as i have been trying for days. Thanks in advance

I was just wondering if it is possible to add aussie maps to a unit which i bought from the states?? if so what steps do i have to take? should i upload aussie firmware? ive tried to follow the links outlined in the below thread but i cant even get test mode going. i copy the test mode and mitocap folders to sd card, insert sd card power on unit and nothing happens. viewtopic.php?f=34&t=23158 what can/should i do to get aussie maps on this thing! any help would be appreciated cheers,
