1. I have the 2005 F350 and went with Diamond Audio Separates in the front. I had the Pioneer Rev series 5X7 in the doors before I upgraded. They sounded pretty good. If your not going to add an amp then Any 100.00 speaker set will work just fine.

Installation Price?

One word or three letters...BMW. Bimmers are one of the hardest installs for any shop and they charge you for it too. I've had 3 5 series and it always costs me more. 800.00 seems a little high though. 500.00 sounds more realistic. What do i know, I just spend money before I even have it.
3.
How can a college security/ticket writer guy buy a $2200 stereo for his car?
That's exactly what I was thinking. That has to be 2 months of his salary.
4. I'm hoping someone who knows the ins and outs of tuning a parametric EQ can respond. I currently am using the AVHP7600DVD and will be installing the Z1 tomorrow. I don't think I ever really understood the Parametric EQ and I think my ears and my system have suffered long enough. I plan on tuning the Z1 correctly but need help. Maybe someone can help. Please not a bunch off buzz words and jargon I can't understand, explain as if I was one of your Grand Parents even though I'm only 33 years old. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
5. G-man, Thanks for your valued input. I'm going to have the Z1 installed on Wed. without the DEQ-P8000. I want to see how it sounds with the 2.2v. I'll just add the DEQ-P8000 later if I'm not happy with it. It sure would be nice for this Z1 to intergrate with out having to use the AMX8000. Pioneer really doesn't make a true all-in-one unit. Thats too bad.
6. Ducatiboy, good eye. I was just testing you guys...yeah right!
7. I found this pic on the Web. Can you actually make the front panel buttons green. That would be sweet.
8. G-Man, Can you turn off the AMX8000 and use the Z-1 for volume control or do you always have to use the AMX8000? This makes me wonder about not being able to use Voice controls, and this means I'll have one more remote control to lose. If I lose the remote than I can no longer control the system? Another thought came up...now I'll have three crossovers in the system, Amp, Z-1, and the DEQ-P8000. Doe's this make tweaking the system more difficult? I like to tweak with my systems as much as the next guy but I don't want it to get confusing either. I just want to make sure this product is for me.
