Sounds like you are not using the TTS voice but a standard voice. Deleting your save files should set it back to normal but either way go into the voice settings and I bet you have a non-TTS voice selected. Alex, I did not have Samantha chosen...Thanks

I have searched and I must be missing it. My unit does not tell me left or right for the location when reached, nor does it mention street names in the directions. I am using all components that you have included with the mode including the voice you supplied. If no than my quesion is answered but if yes...why is mine not working... Everything that I have discoverd about your mod works perfect. Let me know your thouthts... Thanks

I have a quesion as become very excited about installing the red them to Alex's mod which has worked great. 01) make sure you are willing to put this on your unit and you are doing this AT YOUR OWN RISK. 02) make sure you have a complete back-up of your unit before starting this mod. 03) copy the 3 folders to a FRESHLY FORMATTED SD CARD ~ APL, APL2 & testmode 04) put the sd card into your unit and start your car/power your unit 05) windows CE will boot up. 06) double click on MY DEVICE 07) Double click on STORAGE CARD 08) COPY and PASTE the two folder APL & APL2, close fold

I will confirm it is working great as well. I am new to modding and this one was great to implement.

Sorry I was not clear...but what I found is that I loss the compass and it was in 2 d because somehow I loss 3 d. I believe that is why it would only give me north up. I had deleted the saved files once again and it worked fine. go figure.... Let me ask you what file can I find the day and night car (arrow) in 3D? I have noticed that once I finally edited the picture properly, it works great but only in 2D not 3D which I can only get in the split screen. How can I get 2D on the main map. I know it most likely something simple but I can't figure it out. Thanks for your help.

Diaftia, Your mod is amazing. I have sent my thanks and wanted to let you know your instructions were perfect and I have enjoyed all of the new features. Two questions... 1> I have changed my arrow to my car and since I have done that Mod that is posted in the forum I can't seem to get the map off north up. I also can't get the arrows to come up to change the angles of the map. 2 When updating (replacing the data file) do I need to clear the save file as I did when first installed? Thanks again for the new driving experience.
