Well I tried everything I could think of still no luck, even borrowed a friends SD card which had the WinCE files on it that he used and no luck so I'm pulling the deck and sending it in. Does anyone know if the x910BT uses the same wiring harness as the F90BT? If so I'm just going to go buy one of them while this one's away for warranty repair.

Tried different sources as well as different versions. I haven't even made it to the part of the flash disk so that's not of concern at the moment. I was originally just using version 2.0 files but someone in another thread suggested that I use the 3.0 files and upgrade at the same time. So in summary I have used 2 sets of version 2.0 files (2 different sources) and 1 set of version 3.0 files all with no success. I don't think it's the files as many people have downloaded them and used them from the same source. I even tried downloading multiple times as well as unzipping multiple times A

Yup 4 finger salute, everything according to the instructions, it just stalls at the 100% read progress. Tried 3 SD Cards, can't remember the 3rd one but the other 2 are a 2gb and a 4gb both Kingston brands. Tried the same thing over 20 times, different computers, different ways of formatting cards, everything i could think of haha.

This is the first time I'm ever touching the deck aside from the 2.006 update and a background change. Aside from that the unit has been running for over a year flawlessly this just happened without any warning or without doing anything. Last thing I remember doing on it was switching to AM radio to hear a traffic report and turning the car off, on the next start this begun. very frustrating indeed

So I noticed that a few people had the problem I am having and there has been no solution posted so I would like to request it again. When updating the WinCE files, my read progress reaches 100% and nothing happens after that. I have tried the procedure over 20 times and waited different lenghts of time yet still no luck. Does anybody know how to get past that damn step? I can't get into testmode either because I can't update the WinCE files. K tried the 3.0 files and same deal, It won't go past the 100% progress screen, I let it sit for 5 minutes other times 30 minutes nothing. I think I have tried it atleast 20 times if not more. As for accidently pushing option 1 (the sd/mmc update option), technically option 0 is the correct one with the format in brackets. I'm using the files directly off the pioneer site, the Avic-F90BT Firm Update (filename:avic_f-series_firmware_update_2.006000.zip) Tried unzipping it multiple times, tried a redownload, tried loading it off different computers, tried 2 different sd cards. Seems to be that the deck is messed. Would I be able to load the version 3.0 wince files on or does it have to be for the current version? Awesome thanks for info, I'm going to try a fresh format off the 2 sd-cards that I have tried and see if I can get past that step. A few things to clear up in this thread along with a problem I am having. First off those people that are having trouble getting their screen to stay on for more than 20-30 seconds. You have to hold down the reset button along with the menu/map/eject button. I had a hard time with this until I tried the reset button and the screen finally stayed on.
