Auto EQ has been know to not work with a bypass. Ground the p brake wire and see if that changes anything.

I don't know if a 5700BHS is the same, if it is, will temporarily removing bypass from system allow auto EQ setting to be loaded?

Trying to run this update, 45 minutes later it's still a blank screen.  How long should this take?

Working now in original location.... What can I say, you're right again.

okay, then I don't understand why the bypass is no longer working. As soon as I hit 5MPH I get the message that the parking brake is not properly connected, but the connection status shows the parking brake is "ON".

I understand the harness is the same, but are the wires in the same position? Does the mute wire go to the same pin location and then to ground?

So where does the mute pin need to move to on a 110 to 130?

I have the exact same issue after the upgrade.

Recently my unit has begun shutting down the active application all by itself. In order to reactivate, i have to restart (HD Radio for example), turn it off manually, and then turn it on again. Turning on the second time returns audio signal to the amps. I have verified that the amps are turned on during the entire process.

Any ideas? I was finally getting around to installing the 130 upgrade and now I'm concerned that I might create other problems, or might the upgrade be a solution?

Had the same issue. Make sure that plug that has the parking brake wire is plugged in securely. I took my unit out and pressed all the connections together, heard a little "click" when I pressed this block and everything has been good since then.

Anyone else having ths issue???

Is there a special procedure for the full reset, or just a complete power disconnect?

Yeah, as far as the iPod goes, everything was working fine prior to the upgrade and the iPod works fine when not connected to the Z120.

Since the upgrade from the Z110 I can no longer change the station presets, I'm stuck with the stations that were programmed prior to the upgrade. I also just installed XM and I can't change or program those presets. Anyone have solution for this?

Second issue, IPOD looks like it's playing but there's no audio. Suggestions?

Like the title says, installed the Z120 upgrade and now a SD card that I had previously used for custom POI's no longer works. When I insert the card I get an error that says the card is not in a valid format. Any suggestions?

If re-pairing doesn't work then I would remove the phone from the list on the Pioneer and also remove Pioneer from phone, and then reinstall all.

For the BT update there is no need to install the one on the first card as previously recommended.

You're advising this eventhough the instructions specifically state to perform update on disk #1 BEFORE the update on disk #2????

The yellow leaflet makes reference to the Operations Manual Addendum, but i have nothing and I can't find anything on the Pioneer web.... any ideas?

Dude, I guess one of us can't read.. You'll notice I was referencing the manual for the UPGRADE, not the unit itself. Your link takes me to the owner's manual for the 120.

It may seem trivial but that's diappointing...

The maps will be upgraded. But nothing we wanted to see changed, added, or fixed with the navi software is going to change. At least as far as the 120 owners manual indicates. The X920 also has the same maps and navi as what the 120 will have and it works exactly as the 110 does and has the same lack of features and minor bugs. So the navi will be the same as whats on the 110 now.

So you don't think they'll fix the bug with accessing detours from traffic via the map screen without going out to the navigation/MSN menus???

Also with HD you loose all the information with the presets.

I'm hoping the upgrade fixes this issue.

Something's not right, I never have a problem in the LA area.

I just installed this unit in my '02 Z06 at the first of the year, made the connection behind the main instrument panel and I've absolutely no issues.

The MSN tuner has an "in" and an "out" connector for the antenna leads, no need for a splitter.....

Nope, you don't need a splitter. Have you gone into the settings and turned on the HD selection? It may just be set to analog. But if you're not getting good reception that could be your issue, HD requires a stronger signal.
