I have to aggree with the op, that post is all about the 200FM and no where does it even mention a F500. I'd like more info on this also. Not finding anything but on pioneer's website. US myself, not UK.

Update: In regards to the USB not working, perhaps becuase I haven't done that software hack and just the hardware hack the usb isn't working. Can you not listen to music while drivin or somthing on this unit? Anywho, I managed to get power, and usb working and no audio noise by not using the harness that came with the unit. When I use the harness that came with the unit, it won't power on, audio output doesn't work at all, the unit is mute when on the cradle, and usb doesn't work. So I wired it up using the side outputs and inputs on the device itself, IE; Power, USB, and Audio. E

I just got a F500BT, Ive been using it without the cradle hook up for a good month now without issues. Well I took the leep and went to hook it up with the cradle. First off, I hooked up the battery cable (always on power), and the parking break to ground. The headunit is not getting a charge when in the cradle. I hooked up the 5v black wire to the vehicle socket adapter (harness output; not the unit output itself) and it worked. So the harness delerived the power to the cradle, but without it nothing. ALSO, I hooked up the Aux Output wire to my Head Unit and Im getting SERIOUS gro

It is on the one and only flash drive, but that one flash drive is setup into paritions me thinks.

Nature of the beast, mine has.. 100mb free on the 'my flash disk'. I deleted all of mexico and canada from my gps. Im never gonna go there, who cares LOL. I have no upgraded to wince, but if it counts I don't think wince takes space from the my flash disk. Edit: Canada I might, I did drive to Nigara Falls...

When and if you use this, will you loose everything on the "My Flash Disk" or somthing? And how does the wince image get applied? Testmode = WinCE I thought.

Those links don't look like they are the "CNSD-150FM" which is for the F500BT becuase the Sys.Txt is not the F500BT unit info?
