HI GUYS I HAVE AN AVIC F700BT I DOWNLOADED THE FILES AND FOLLOWED THE STEPS FROM THE POST. EVERYTHING WAS OK UNTILL I RESETED THE UNIT AND THE SPLASH COMES ON 2 MINUTES LATER THE SCREEN AND THE ILUMMIN LIGHTS TURN OFF AND NOTHING HAPPENS THE UNIT IS ON BECAUSE I CAN HEAR THE FAN ON BUT THATS IT. ANY SOLUTIONS? BY THE WAY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS POST IVE TRIED FIXING MY AVIC UNIT FOR ALMOST A YEAR SINCE PIONEER WONT FIX IT UNLESS I PAY $200 DOLLARS

Hi ive had my avic-f700bt for 11 months and just recently the splash screen comes on and then the background lights go off with the menu,map and eject button and the screen shuts off everything else works fine the cd player sd card and my phone connects and it shows it on the screen the "mobile phone connected' msg verry dim. Any ways i was wondering how can i fix it since i called pioneer and they need a receipt so the one year warranty kicks in if not ill be charged i cant find the receipt and i know i got the unit in feb-14-09 so any advice on how to fix it?
