I have a F700 and sometimes my touchscreen doesnt wrk. It only allows me to select the bottom left or right corners, and Im not able to select anythin else. But sometimes it wrks just fine.

I did this install on a F700 everything loaded up properly but it stays in mute and I cant get it to unmute. What do i need to do to get it top unmute?

ok i was able to follow the steps and got everything loaded.when it restarted i was able the select the language. The only problem is now on the main screen that shows Destination, Contacts, Source im not able to select anything. Every time I touch anywhere on the right side on the screen it selects "setting" in the bottom corner and when i touch the left side it selects the "phone setting" on the bottom left corner. On anything screen if i touch a certain side no matter where i touch it selects the bottom corner of that side. Also when i put a cd in the automatically goes to mute. What could

Im new to this, it my 1st time doing any updates. Ok so i downloaded the 3.1 and copied it to my SD card. Inserted it into my unit and updated the WINCE. It told me to restart and it restarted with a screen that looks like Windows on a PC, i was able the select MY DEVICE icon but it froze up n i'm not able to select anything on the screen. I restarted it the same Windows screen came up but I still cant select anything. Im not sure where i messed up, does anyone have any ideas?

I didnt back up the OS the unit was already acting up whn i got it, so i wasnt able to. Someone told me the update would correct the prob. How can i get the original factory settings and files back on there?

My f700 is giving me all types of problems. I tried loading 2.008 on there, it loaded up and said 100% then whn it restarted itself, it didnt move off the splash screen. Finally it did now im not able to make any audio selections. I can select destination or contacts from the main menu but not AV. Even under the setting menu I cant select "AV setting" or "AV source". Also when i looked under service info screen the map version said none but it show 2.008 as loaded on there. Are there files missing? If so how can i restore them?

i have a avic f700 and it keeps restarting itself. Every 10 mins it will cut off and go to a blank screen and then back to the splash screen and says "system is powering on". Also sometimes the screen doesnt always respond when i select somethin or ill push it and itll at stay highlighted as if im holding it down. Any idea what could be causing this and what could i do to fix it?
