  1. He means a DAC, digital to analog converter. Takes in bits and converts to an analog voltage. More bits = higher resolution in each audio sample, which leads to better analog output (lower noise, better sound reproduction).
  2. I have the same request- I was disappointed that my 910 didn't have A2DP support. There appears to be a workaround using an IPod connector and a cheap adapter- see this thread: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=23729&p=171267 I haven't tried this solution, but I would love to know how well it works. From what I read in the above thread, I'm concerned that audio quality may not be as good as a cabled solution.
  3. I just installed a X910BT in my car, and am liking the device so far. I've been checking all of the functionality out before reassembling the car completely (just in case I forgot to hook something up, but I'm not sure how to check if the VSS is properly feeding data to the nav unit. Is there a way to check this?
  4. Looks like the price continues to drop. Amazon now has it for $519 from CarToys, for a total of $419 AR. Unfortunately, they don't offer the 30 day price guarantee that they once did that would refund you for price drops after you bought an item. I would guess that eventually stock of the X910 will run out, as they are apparently pricing these low in order to create room for the X920.
  5. I just bought an X910BT on Amazon from Car Toys, $530. Since the purchase was from Car Toys (an authorized pioneer dealer), I'm hoping for the $100 rebate as well. I plan on calling them and asking for a receipt on Car Toys letterhead to send in with the rebate form. $530 - $100 MIR = $430 EDIT: I just checked on Amazon, and CarToys has increased the price back up to $900, so this deal may not still be available.
