I know this forum can be a little bit hard to search for problems. Most posts will say go to this thread, and blah blah. It's hard to find the one with the direct direction. I was on here a few days searching to make sure of what I'm about to do. Don't want an Avic X910BT as a paperweight.
Anyway, use a SD card ( I used a 16G), format it and then download the test mode ( I believe it's the version 2.3). If when you unzip it and it gives you two folders, that won't work anymore. With that test mode unzipped, copied to your SD card, put the card into to your Avic with power off. Turn it on
