Did you hook up the ILL wire to dimmer or illumination? Pretty sure you need to hook it up to a true undimmed "parking light" wire. If the factory plug only has dimmer, then you may need to run it to the parking light wire. If you find an alarm install guide for your truck it should have the color and location. Hope that helps. Careful, cause you can fry your dimmer circuit if it hooks up incorrectly.

Hi, I am following this as well, as i spent a couple hours last night trying to find this wire. I'm good with wires I can test, but this thing I'm not sure how to test.
