I am using a 3G iPhone and have the same issue. An added step from about is to look at your bluetooth connection in setting and make sure it says hands free and audio. I get the connect from the phone app but nothing happens. Is there something special I should be doing with the phone? By the way, I can play all audio sources including slacker with the connection cable.

Upgraded last night without any problems. bluetooth fine maps great voice guidance fine I pressed the main control knob to test the voice commands and the system made no sounds and didn't show me the dialog. Is there something I need to reset to get voice command functionality back. I am seeing that other people still have this functionality so it must be something I did (or did not do)

If you mean it reboots instead of going into service mode. I had the same problem. You hold down the three buttons and just give the reset a tap. you dont need to hold down the reset button. I just upgraded my f700bt tonight.

So can I assume this would work on an American version of the F700 as long as I found North American maps (fbl's)

Hey guys. I just picked up a F700 and have upgraded it to the 2.08 firmware. Since I am just getting my feet wet, I was going to buy the cnsd-100 software to upgrade to 3 and get newer maps. Since that upgrade has been out for sometime, I am afraid a newer version is on the horizon. Does anyone have a feel for when we can expect the next upgrade version for maps? Also if there is a place less expensive than amazon, I would appreciate the tip. I see that they were 60 bucks at one point, but now I cant find them for less than 100.
