  1. Installed a 4100NEX in my Jeep over the weekend along with a rear backup camera. I opted to tap into the power at the head unit so I could turn on the camera when I want. Things work as they should, camera comes on when in reverse, shift out of reverse it turns off, I can turn on the camera when I want. My issue, or possible issue is that when I park and turn the ignition off, the rear camera appears on screen no matter what the source was prior to turning the ignition off. Is this as designed or is mine doing something out of the ordinary? I prefer it did not, so I'm hoping there is a fix. I
  2. I just did this... The GPS plug is differerent
  3. Is there someone here or on eBay selling just the wire and correct connector to plug into the open slot rather than using the mute wire?
  4. Oh, and I don't care about video, I just want to audio.
  5. Will the Pioneer CD-i200 iPod cable (used on the AVIC-D3) work on the Z110BT? Looks like the bus is the same.
  6. Yeah, I couldn't pass it up... Your right though, earlier in the day it was a different price on Amazon.
  7. 6ave.com... They have it for 999.99, but on Amazon they have it for $879.98 before rebate, so I called them and they matched it so I'll get the rebate.
  8. I just ordered the Z110BT, got one helluva deal, after rebate it will be $679.98! Bye, bye, 710BT... I'll be sure and try moving the phone further away if I have the same issue, I just lay it in the console, so I guess it's more like 1.5 to 2 ft. away, anyway. Thanks for the input.
  9. Thought the startup would be better. Phone is 1 ft. from the head unit, not even talking about call quality with the mic, the crackling is coming from the bluetooth connection, it's before a call even connects. Crazy things have happened on it as well, XM just stopped working for no reason, it had it tuned in, but no sound, everything else worked fine. Had to do a hard reset to get it to play sound again, then I made a call, it was dialing, and the system rebooted. Maybe I got a faulty unit? Either way, I'm not keeping it. Either I'll get the Z110BT or go back to the D3 than deal with th
  10. How is the startup time on the Z110BT? I just went from a D3 to a X710BT and I'm ready to go back to the D3 because of the startup time and bluetooth quality. I have the X710BT paired with a iPhone 3G and on my end, it cuts out, crackles quite a bit. Considering ordering the Z110BT rather than going back to the D3.
