  1. Finally time to upgrade my Avic-D3. I want to go with the Z1100BT but just curious, can I use the previous hookups from my D3 and just plug them into my Z1100BT? Or do I need to redo all the wiring?
  2. i checked the ground and changed it, and still the same thing. Any ideas?
  3. does anyone know why this is? Please.
  4. I installed my AVIC-D3 in my 2007 Honda Civic EX coupe but whenever i touch a button the the D3 its really loud and has static in the background. Same when the GPS voice talks. I turn down the voulme level in the settings and its still very loud even with it turned down all the way. Plus the static noise in the background. I had this in my last car and never did this. Plus, when i listen to my iPod or radio it sounds fine, no static. Just when the GPS talks and my D3 beeps when i hit a button. Whats going on with this? Thanks!
  5. Hello. I just got a factory Dash kit for my 2007 Honda Civic. I had the scorche dash kit but the colors did not match up. I was wondering if there was a ring i can buy the goes around my D3 unit because the factory kit did not come with a ring to go around the unit and the ring that comes with the D3 doesnt fit. Any ideas?
  6. I hooked up everything into my 2007 Honda Civic and for some reason everything works fine just not the sound? Any reason why? I know how to hook it up, i did it in my previous car so i know its not a wiring issue. Any thoughts? Thanks!

    HELP!!!!

Hello everyone. Im doing my install right now and i have a 2007 Honda Civic EX Coupe. I am installing the D3. I removed everything but i dont know how to get the knobs off the AC climate controls. I took the 4 screws out of the back, but you need to take the spinning knobs that you turn off first. How do those come off? I dont want to break them. Thanks!!!
  8. I know the steering contol will work, but is that the right dash kit, wire harness and antenna adaptor for a 2007 Civic? Thanks!

  12. So the updated maps for the D3 will cost $250? So for everyone that just bought the D3 now will have to pay another $250 for updated maps?
  13. I have a Verizon Palm Treo 700w and it keeps saying Connection Failed on the D3 screen when I go to connect. It finds my phone fine, but when I try and connect it says failed. On my phone it says, "Your Device did not connect with Pioneer BT unit2. The Network connection failed or the passkey is incorrect." I tried the default key, 0000 and it didnt work. Then i went in the settings and made my own key and it still didnt work. Anyone have any soultions to this? Thanks!
  14. So, will either one or both of these remotes work with the Avic-D3? http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/pg/product/details/0,,2076_310069685_235349926,00.html http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/part.asp?productNum=CXC5717
