  1. Can you provide steps to recreate the "out of memory" problem? You can also provide me the crash.txt but to be honest, I never look into it before (never got problem). For your second question, you can try to execute the Custom script under the "Application Menu 1" (on map popup menu), and the shortcut to the RESET will be created and accessible from the WinCE Start Menu.
  2. Thanks Jason for your nice words. There is no setting saved for the selected map. All maps should be stored under "My Flash Disk\APL2\iGo\CONTENT\map". If you have toggled between Navteq and TeleAtlas maps using the MAP Changer but you DIDN'T create a folder called CONTENT\map_nt with the basemap.fdl AND at least one map in it, you're running into trouble! To correct the situation, boot into TestMode and rename the map_ta or map_nt to map. To be able to use the Map Changer, you know what to do now (i.e. see above). Good luck!

  5. Ryar, Like I said, it must be the left-over portion of the GFX folder from another mod; since those files are outside the data.zip, they have preseance over those within. Believe me you still have close to 120 MB of UNNECESSARY and UNUSED data inside the GFX folder right now, while mine needs only 8 MB. Here is what you should do IF YOU ONLY WANT TO USE MY SCHEMES inside \CONTENT\SCHEME: 1) Select Pioneer Blue Day and Night as schemes 2) Boot to TestMode 3) Make a backup of GFX folder then delete it completely 4) Make a backup of CONTENT\SCHEME folder then delete it completel
  6. I would need a US/CANADA volunteer with an AVIC F900/X910 supporting MSNDirect to test my new update. Any volunteer out there? Please PM me! There are lot and lot of unused scripts and user-interface graphics associated with MSN v2.0 and waste lot of CPU resources and RAM. I dont' have MSNDirect so I can't test this "faster" and simplified version.
  8. I am sorry for my ignorance effortless. Looks like that you might just need an hacked EzRider.exe to recognize the updated map files.
  10. Please read!!! Ver. 4.001000 - Countermeasure for a problem that the navigation unit reboots when receiving specific TMC codes in France
Carver's hack on nag msg and tel.exe.
  13. That is because the files found in your newly copied "GFX" folder either overwritten those already in place. If GFX folder doesn't already exist prior copying, then the new GFX overwrite those within the same folder inside the DATA.zip file. You have to know what you're copying. This could be a problem because you're switching from another mod, with a different set of GFX. In my mod, I provide a couple of the nicest day/night schemes with a minimalist GFX folder, 8 MB instead of 140 MB in abb1's schemes. See first post for instructions.
  15. Virer? Pourquoi?
  16. I'm not sure you guys should update to 4.x. Below is the only reason of the update, don't know why they want to bump the the major version from 3 to 4 though: CHANGE HISTORY for AVIC-F900BT Updated with CNSD-200FM/EU5 AVIC-F700BT Updated with CNSD-200FM/EU5 AVIC-F910BT Updated with CNSD-200FM/EU5 AVIC-F9110BT Updated with CNSD-200FM/EU5 AVIC-F710BT Updated with CNSD-200FM/EU5 Ver. 4.001000 - Countermeasure for a problem that the navigation unit reboots when receiving specific TMC codes in France I've heard that the above change is in the EzRider.exe, so if you have to
  17. According to my posts, I should have stopped modding twice already ... my wife is really not very happy!
  18. C'est vraiment harmonieux! Oui je les veux! Merci JL.
  21. CHANGE HISTORY for AVIC-F910BT AVIC-F9110BT AVIC-F710BT AVIC-F900BT Updated with CNSD-100FM/EU5 AVIC-F700BT Updated with CNSD-100FM/EU5 Ver. 3.021000 - Countermeasure for a problem that the navigation unit reboots when receiving specific TMC codes in France Ver. 3.020200 - Countermeasure for blue areas in UK map - MSN tab appearing in Disc tracklist mode Ver. 3.010100 - Stability improvement on iPod alphabetical search. - Improvement on Track Log recording. - General UI improvement.
  22. If there is a memory issue, then you should see a message from Windows CE saying so. Did you got a Windows message? If so what it said? As for the radio icon on the bottom right corner, there is an option for that, which is called Audio Bar ON/OFF, settable both from the on-map menu icon or from the "Sound Settings". SmartTrack features take up only a few bytes of RAM and a few kilobytes of ROM memory, not MB. Good lucks!
  23. Well, I have something new and can't help but willing to share with you guys ... I am working to combine the best of both worlds: AUTO SWITCHING between SmartTrack (2D/2D North) and SmartZoom (3D) while you change between 2D/2DN/3D map modes. If you guys are interested, DON'T just sit around and wait , DO show your enthousiasm LET me know and I will find a moment to upload it once completed.
