  1. Jimbo, if you're referring to the SmartZoom, then it is from the stock iGo. If you're referring to the SmartTrack, then that was my invention but honestly, I don't know how to show you to implement into your mod, as this is not an addon and the code is complexe, and everywhere. You would have to dig in order to understand. Main codes are found in Chuck88.ui. Good luck.
  2. For the TMC to work, my understanding is that you have to modified the SYS.txt to enable your device. But since I don't have TMC in Canada, I can't really verify that. I suggest refer to ryar's English AVIC for discussions already been posted. As for the Bluetooth, I don't know for sure neither. Once thing that you can do is to: 1) Make sure that iGo8 without Primo is working. 2) If not, delete "\My Flash Disk\APL" and then restore your backup of this APL folder (i.e. back to FW 3.x) and see whether there is a difference.
  3. Ovalball, you're always so helpful for those who need help. Thanks.
  4. Suggest to restart with the new download, then restart again using the originally released files (within the download DATA.zip) and follow my tip for (x, y) coordinates again. Good luck!
  5. Hi all, I finally re-uploaded the release v3.4a to the 4shared server by re-instating the more popular Chrome interface, both in the MainMenu, Phone, A/V and iGo8 sections. Download is now updated in post #1. Enjoy!
  6. Image.res: you're doing the right thing. I don't recall why I put that one in (green) ... maybe I thought that I would never post my mod again back a while ago. The green one match my car's interior. Rememeber that you can also change the interface color of the iGo NAV in custom settings. GPS fix: I don't know. TMC: Edit the SYS.txt. Speedcam: use the one under Primo/Content/Speedcam, copy only *.TXT file, the database file will be created by Primo or it will not work. You have to also enable the warning under Primo settings. Switching back: this is a known issue: when switch b
  7. It seems to be the correct way to do the edit by commenting out the undesired parts ... The best way would still be testing the result out on your AVIC. Sorry but this is pretty much and try-and-error thing. If you comment out a control that other places in the UI files want to control its attributes, then you'll get an error popup. Note the name of the control then search where it is been used under what circumstances. Then edit again. A tip would be instead of commenting out the undesired controls, just put them out of the 800x480 screen coordinates, for example, put them to x=900 y=500.
  8. Hummm, I would restore to stock iGo8 then restart the modding process again. Something was probably messed up outside of iGo8 since there are complete different applications.
  9. Are you saying that slow and laggy even when Primo is not running?
  10. Sorry Nissan guy, I was mixed up you with fusion600! So fusion600, did you get a chance?
  11. Except for the map, poi, building ans dem files, AVICnet might be a complete set. Ryar maybe he can confirm that!
  12. Sorry but that is totally wrong! You can't delete those two folders because no mod in this forum is complete (except the image level hack of FX3.1)!! Mods are provided only as a subset of the modified functions but the base package from iGo/Pioneer is still needed. In other words, you can mod only when there is a working version of the iGo software, let say, the baseline when you bought the AVIC. Then copy the modded files such as mine and overwrite those existing one, then copy licenses file to the right folder. With this said, most of the times, you have to have everything else in place and
  13. Hey the Nissan guy, I think that I might put the finger on your problem. Let's try that ... Do you have a folder just under the iGo folder called "ui_pioneer". If so please backup that whole folder (if you need it later) then completely delete it, then restart iGo or reboot the AVIC. Let me know!
  14. Nothing is wrong, just that you have to find a IMAGE.RES file and replace the one within the "\My Flash Disk\APL". I embedded the one that I use that matches the interior of my car ... sorry about that! You can find an chrome IMAGE.RES pretty easily in this forum. Abb1 has made a great one so look at his Chrome Mod thread and download the IMAGE.RES.
  15. This UI file is within the DATA.zip, which mean that DATA.zip is maybe not copied to "\My Flash Disk\APL2\iGo".
  16. The error is saying that you're loading an EU version of the iGo software. If you're in the USA, make sure that the device is correctly selected at the beginning of the SYS.TXT file. It is most likely that you're missing some files under the iGo\CONTENT folder and subfolders. Don't forget to copy all available license files to the iGo\LICENSE folder.
  17. For those of you having trouble running Primo, please delete the whole folder "\My Flash Disk\APL2\Primo\save". It might contain invalid settings for your AVIC setup. Primo will create a brand new set of settings by start asking "Language". Good lucks!
  18. This is most of the time because missing maps, or rather frequently, you have performed a partial copy of the files from the SD card. Always check you have enough free space on "My Flash Disk" by checking "Properties" because copying, because WinCE will not give any error when there is not enough free space. It just stopped and you're ending up with an incomplete set of file. The 5-minutes rebooting cycle is a security loop implemented by Pioneer to prevent lockup. During this time, it is waiting for EzRider.exe to respond after loading iGo was ended.
  19. I'm fixing the link problem right now. ... should be OK in 20 minutes ... EDITED: All done! Link works now.
  20. Hi ryar, Just want to let you know that Chuck88's Mod with Primo 2.0 embedded was released. So if people has problem with the previous installation of Primo 1.2 and that they don't want or don't need to use AVICnet, you can direct them to my thread for the most up to date Primo. I also provided necessary files to update the Pioneer firmware to the so-called "version 4.0" in the release. Cheers!
  21. I'm glad that I was helpful. Please keep me posted on your upgrade process on all your three setups! Cheers!
  22. 2012-01-19: v3.4a posted: Now with Primo 2.0 and Pioneer FW 4.0 Update! Again, make a backup of your "\My Flash Disk" folder. Should you run into any problem because you have use other mods previously, please delete the folders "\My Flash\Disk\User\UserData\iGo" and "\My Flash Disk\APL2\Primo\save" to get rid of the possible incorrect settings. Let's make this short! Pioneer FW update 4.0: This is not an image level update, just some DLL and EXE are updated to include minor improvements to the FW 3.00x, but Pioneer decided to flagged this update as FW 4.0, which is found in some "A
