My recommendation would be restore the APL2 folder, make sure that it works correctly by booting into the iGo8, then from there you install the new v3.3 as per the instructions of first post. Make sure that you have enough space by deleting unused maps or POI. -
No! Do not delete APL2. My files are only for the interface, and you still need all the reste, like maps, POI, DEM, license, etc etc. Please make sure what you are doing before proceed. You can otherwise brick your AVIC. The complete My Flash Disk is device-specific and it is closed to 1800 MB in size, so no one can upload that to this forum. You have to search through this forum and find a link to the external download sites or torrent.

ryar, you have to get rid of your own modified chuck88.ui and chuck88_800_480.ui, but only use mines. You probably recopied those two files over my set of files.

Like I said in post #519, the folder is \My Flash Disk\User\UserData\iGo, not the one under APL2. Your problem is probably caused by NOT ENOUGH disk space, so when you upgraded from v3.2 to v3.3, the files copy process ended prematurately (not all files are copied). Note that there are 40-50 MB more data in v3.3 because of the interface color folder under Extension\Interfaces. You can verify this by checking the remaining disk space (Explorer, properties for "My Flash Disk"), if it is under 30 MB or so, then you might have problems. Maybe just try to delete iGo (make a backup) and reboot, just to see. Otherwise I don't know what to say except to troubleshoot from a stable baseline, sorry but the issue is too generic.

Humm, never heard! If you're switching from another mod, delete the iGo folder under \My Flash Disk\User\UserData and tried again.

Good! I forgot to include the CW_icon_primo.bmp but I guessed you have it copied by yourself ... This will be my upcoming small update v3.4 and it already includes a couple of improvements, that I forgot the details since I never thought before that I am going to release my mod again ... I will compare to v3.3 to see what have been changed or improved, when I have sometime. Once your works is in an acceptable state, let me know and I will release it. I think that you don't need to minimize any application, but only execute Show ("NAVI") will bring back Primo and hide other running application behind, which is the intent. In my end, I started modding my v3.3 MOD and have implemented the auto-timer to launch Primo, if this option was selected from the Custom Settings menu. I have carver's hack for the nag message so whenever I start my AVIC, it automatically gets into the map screen, and the 15-second visual countdown timer starts. ryar, Now your CwGoPrimo.mscr is better. At your previous posted one, you launch AEKxx.exe then kill it after a couple of seconds ... that I don't understand. For your new showxxxxx.mscr scripts, you might forget another application that is also running: Tel.exe. Ciao!

Well, must be a forum bug. I have nobody in my BLOCK list . Just PM you for testing. To view the process names of all running tasks, use one of the application Task Manager wincetm.exe in my MOD's Application Menu. I believe the AV program's process name is "AV", or "AV.exe". I wired the AV control to my steering wheel, so I can start SD/USB music inside Primo, but with the F500, you are out of lucks. Thanks for the Green Settings, you're good!

The initial process launched by AVIC is called "ezrider". Ezrider.exe launched from Windows Explorer or from Primo is called "ezrider.exe". Application name on the taskbar is called "iGo8". So I just build one universal . If the process doesn't exist upon a kill command, Windows just ignores it. I might want to test the AEKMapScan again, but when I removed it after rebooting, it works fine. If it doesn't serve any purpose, then I will just not use it. Can you confirm? BTW, you will need matching .EXE for all .MSCR when scanning application with Primo v1.2, and it is unpractica

Because EzRider or iGo was not killed/terminated with the previous CwGoPrimo.mscr script, so iGo is still using the GPS device. Use the new one in the archive below. I also modified CwGoIgo8.mscr. Please linked it as per ryar's instructions in the previous page. APL2.zip

Well don't know what's wrong exactly, but one thing for sure, as many members have expressed, FW 4.0 has no apparent difference when comparing to FX 3.0, so I guess you lose nothing by downgrading if this fixes your issue. Otherwise, I would suggest going back to stock or a simpler mod and see if there is still issue, and then add things gradually to iron out the culprit ... this nag msg hack should be the last thing to add! Just my two cents ... Good lucks! -

Upon exiting Primo, AVIC reboots if SKIN other than the default day/night has been used, which indicates a memory usage issue.

Can you tell me which one is similar to GJA's v2.6 for Primo 1.2? It seems that GJA teams up with AK or something ... latest version?

ryar, I just created some mortscript files in the attached Primo.zip, unverified on my head unit yet. Below is the explanations: I moved AEKMapScan.exe to the extension folder for consistency reason. SYS.txt is yours. I modified the original CwGoPrimo.mscr script (please move this file to iGo\Extension folder) to create an instance of Explorer prior launching Primo ... will be used later (i.e. you will have access to the Start menu after minimizing Primo). But I have both SCHEME and SKIN folders, and people in those forums instruct to create the SKIN folder, as well as in the folders structure of Primo 1.x downloads. Are you sure? Where did you put yours to make them works?

ryar, how to select a new SKIN, like the one by GJA in Primo? In v1.2, I don't have the fancy interface by GJA as in v1.1 GJA 2.6. Is SKIN different than SCHEME? Thanks.
