You're welcome! Unfortunately, looks like that the Primo 1.x sound channel that routed to the device hardware is only opened when the SD, USB or iPod (USB too) is playing. Since the radio is something that is playing only a couple of seconds after the car is ON (if radio source was selected before turning OFF the car), it doesn't need a Windows driver in order to work, where the explanation laid upon. This makes perfect sense, at least in my case.

ryar, thank you for sharing ... Is GJA's skin for v1.2 having the same look and feel as the one (v2.6) for Primo v1.1?

ryar, do you mean that even the MAP button is working after terminating MainMenu.exe? How about the TEL.exe applcation, no more access to bluetooth? How to switch to AV.exe now? Thanks.

Well, finally found the gimmick for the sound to work again. Very simple and I found that out purely at random, after inserting an USB key with music in that and the A/V was automatically looking to play those songs, and the Primo sound went back to life! So USB, SD (or maybe iPod) music has to be played when running Primo to have sound, but Radio alone is not enough. Weired behavior but that is it! Enjoy!

Reboot: when I first install your Primo 1.1, no reboot; no it reboots, even with the original files, even after restoring "SAVE" folder or delete "SAVE" folder. Definitely weired! Sound: I used to have sound with your first Primo 1.1 files, then no sound, then back again (remember someone ask me to check the muted button, and it was not muted but no sound at that time, then back without any change, I think?). Primo 1.2: I found it somewhere and run fine, but still no sound! .

ryar, you said that you tried Primo 1.2 and didn't like it. Can you share the link for 1.2? I am tired with the sound problem of v1.1. Thanks.

No lucks! I don't know what was happening. No sound! When I exit Primo with the Power icon, the unit reboots! This didn't happen before but now is everytime ... in TestMode it doesn't reboot but still no sound, everything are unmuted!!! Everything else works though.

Damn, I started to have problem with the key sound and voice, in fact, no sound at all when in Primo, even after restoring the previous sys.txt and "save" folder. Any clue?

Ryar, I can't launch Primo with the Windows CE 5.0 Emulator. Did you succeed to doing so?

Great, it works. But what now? You cannot go back to Primo easily ... It would be great to make the MAP button works as well .

ryar, there is another mean to do so: you first launch Explorer, so you will have a bottom status bar, then you launch Primo. Within Primo, you show the highest level menu, then press the red power button, then click on MINIMIZE. Primo will reduce itself into a taskbar icon, which is much better if you want to go back after performing Top Menu operations (i.e. not have to wait 30 or 60 seconds, fix delay). To restore Primo, just click on its icon. I can modify my mod to auto-launch Primo if wished, when I have time to mess with ... let me know if your people are insterested.

I am having this problem during normal driving, not navigating. I have a feeling that Primo auto-zoom when get close to an important/big intersection or highway split, even when NOT navigating. Can anyone confirm this?

Very strange ryar, if I delete the SAVE folder, I cannot get sound, even after building a new one with Primo. If I use your SAVE folder, I get sound. X710BT. Any clue.

The map tilt level change by itself sometime, don't know why yet, v2.6 Data.zip or the one that was included initially. Any clue?

X710BT, AV playing fine, able to switch between radio and SD MP3 music. No problem.

Congrat ryar for your contribution. I answered your questions in my thread for the icon. BTW, I downloaded the Primo v1.1 GJA's mod v2.6 through mobilepassion, just the data.zip, and testing it now. Perhaps you should also replace the data.zip of your RAR with the most up to date one ... Thanks!

Sorry no second place in the code, you're correct. You should put the BMP into the ui_pioneer\800_480 folder.

Well, if you're not using my mod, then you have to use ryar's CopyTool.exe and CopyTool.mscr (save them in the "Extension" folder), then copy the script name '<script sc_run_primo>' from his Chuck88.ui (included in his download) and put it somewhere in your mod (for example, navigatemap.ui), then create a button or link in your mod to call the script sc_run_primo. Store "Primo" folder at the same level as your existing "iGo" folder.

Well no. Because the AVIC is waiting for some kind of feedback from EzRider.exe to confirm that iGo8 is up, and that Primo.exe cannot provide. Damn it! I just downloaded DATA.zip v1.2 without any other file, don't know if I can just replace the previous DATA.zip v1.1 or there are other settings to change.

ryar, did you ever tried to copy/move all map, poi, dem and building files to your Primo folder structure, then rename APL2\iGo to something else (APL2\iGo8), then rename folder APL2\Primo to APL2\iGo, and rename Primo.exe to EzRider.exe? I suspect this will bring up Primo by default after startup. You can then see if the integration is successful with the hard buttons like MAP and MENU, and even the AUDIO bar of the A/V program. Please post results.

ryar, in the meantime before you can start a new thread, I made an icon for your Primo link from my mod v3.3. You can use this code instead of your in chuck88.ui: <script sc_run_primo> run sc_run_base_mortscript 100 run 'START_APPLICATION "Extension\CwGoPrimo.mscr" ""' </script> Then change the name of the icon link (2 places) in chuck88_800_480.ui to the one attached herein. Don't forget to rename your CopyTool.mscr to CwGoPrimo.mscr under the Extension folder. You can safely delete CopyTool.exe. CW_icon_igo_primo.bmp

X710BT, sound is back. I muted it earlier I think. Primo is good but the only drawback is that it is not integrated into the AVIC (i.e. MAP and MENU buttons no longer work, you have to shutdown Primo to gain back control).
