  1. I just installed the 4400 in my 2011 Prius. I had previously a AVIC F90 Premier. The 4400 doesn't have built in nav but you can add it. Boot up is almost instantaneous. It requires a relay run from the power antenna lead that grounds the parking brake as a bypass. Bluetooth audio is built in as is HD radio. It blows the factory JBL unit in the Toyota out of the water.
  2. I found with the Incredible, you get a screen on the phone asking which contacts you wish to transfer, phone, google, etc. Make sure phone is checked, any others may be too much. Then you need to send a vcf over bluetooth, then select tranfer on the F series and follow the prompts. If you select transfer on the F then send the vcf then it will only transfer the selected contact.
  3. Ok guys. I took the file in my previous post and made the corrections with warnings. Since they were essentially pirated from earlier posts, I followed the same assumptions about file copy procedures, and should have caught that for less Windows savvy users.
  4. Have you tried the entire CE update from the very beginning? Also look in ssome of the other threads , I seem to remember similar issues. Maybe something to do with copying the My flash files with over-writing vs. delting them all before copying the new ones over from the card.
  5. King: You may have corrupted files. What PC are you using to extract the files? Some report issues when using a Mac. If you do not have the proper sequence during the EJECT, RESET, MENU,MAP button sequence the unit will not stay in the update screen. Check files and try a reload.
  6. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=K0WJSCUR http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XDPTH67G This is from MyITguy. The first link is the 1st part of the file, the 2nd link is part 2. Download them and place in a directory on your PC. Run the program Winrar to extract them (like a zip file) You can download for free trial. Just Google it.
  7. Go to the Pioneer support page and follow their instructions. Works 100%
  8. Attached is a version of the instructions for use with 1 2 Gb card. I have tried to make some of the instructions a bit clearer. I did the 3.00 upgrade in 35 minutes, you then go to the X series 3.02 update page and follow the Pioneer instructions to go directly to 3.02. No extra hassle needed.
