I can confirm the bypass for the avic-x940bt is the same as the avic-x930bt just move the mute wire up one pin and ground it.

Thanks It is a nice deck better then the kenwood I had the sound is way better bass hits better and highs are more bright. I really like the volume knob on the x940bt and like the top load cd slot so I am still deciding if the pros out way the cons Do you what are some of the features that the x940bt has over the p8400bh besides navigation. Just installed my avic-x940bt yesterday not sure how i feel about it yet. I had a Kenwood DNX-6960 installed in my truck before the avic-x940bt. There is a couple of things that bug me about the avic-x940bt First one is when the deck first powers on and i hit the home button it then go's to a warning screen that i have to hit OK then it will go to the screen with the map (I can change it to the eco screen or reverse camera instead of the map screen.) but can not get it to go straight to iPod screen or home screen does your do the same thing. Second thing is where is the Advanced So

I have some questions on the Z-120bt Video/audio Dual zone. I have headrest monitors with speakers built into them when i have a movie playing in the rear can i control the volume separate from another source playing in front. What i want is to play a movie in the rear and listen to radio or music up front. Also can you play a movie in the rear from the SD card or ipod. with out it playing in the front I bought a AVH-P4200 a week ago and it does not have separate volume control for the rear output when i play a disk then set it to the rear and set the radio up front if i lower the volum

I want to know how you got is to push contacts to the unit I just got a avh-p4200 with the Bluetooth add-on and can only answer and hang up call with it can't get the contacts to push to the radio
