  1. The microphone problem has come up a few times already and nobody seem to have a fix. Mine is at the visor, right in front of me and everybody tells me it sound muffled and distorted with low volume. So, you think wrapping it in foam will do the trick? Did you have to do that to your microphone? Thanks for your help.
  2. I have a X920BT with an activated MSN tuner and I just updated to the 2011 maps/930BT firmware. I keep getting the " system reset due to tuner error" over and over. It looks like the firmware does not like the old tuner anymore and does not gracefully ignore it. The unit is unusable since the error messages pop up every second and the on screen controls are locked while the popup is active. Bad, bad software design.   3. Go to the "Navi Settings" and then go to the "3D calibration status". Your unit probably still is in the learning mode. It will get more accurate as you drive a few hundred miles. BTW, did you hook up the speed pulse? If not, you might have problems in tunnels and parking garages or downtown areas with tall buildings.

    X920 Mic SQ

    I first tried my iPhone 3G and I had horrible echo - it was unusable. My second phone is a Blackberry and it works soso. No echo, but people say they barely hear me even though my microphone is right at the rearview mirror, about 12" from my head. I hope Pioneer can fix this with a software upgrade. If there was an aftermarket microphone then I would like to try it even though it's a pain to take out the head unit on my mustang since most of the center console has to be removed to gain access to the mounting screws.
