sorry to everyone that has sent me requests. since i installed my d3 i have been mia on these forums. i will try and do more backgrounds next week when i get free time.

i love my d3 but a couple things i would change (i know some of them are very minor)... 1. even more important than the song title display on sirius for me would be putting the station names on the preset buttons. 2. When you hide ipod controls i wish the artist was listed first and the song title was second. 3. album art 4. visualizations

since it is a video source i am going to say yes...but that is just a guess

so i pretty much use the ipod all the time on my new d3 so i decided to make a little background that looks good under the ipod controls. after numerous attempts i finally came up with something that works...so here is what i came up with... [img]http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w24/whitesmoke3663/curvesdone.jpg[/img] when you are viewing the ipod controls the ipod wheel now has a nice red and white ring around it. when you hit the hide button the red curves become visible and the song title and info is in a nice little box on the bottom. i even threw in a little dropshadow for the

the thought of having to take the whole unit out again = ignoring the humming. argh

I install;ed my system last week and have not been having any problems. Today I opened the dash up again to go ahead and run a wire from the illumination wire on the unit over to my headlight switch (2006 VW rabbit) b/c there is no illumination wire that runs to the factory HU. The unit now dims like it is supposed to when I turn on my headlights however, as soon as I flip on my headlights my sub begins to hum. The humming is very quiet and only noticable without the engine running. The hum stops as soon as I turn off the headlights. Any ideas?
