Hi all, i own a Z3 (european HD3-II) unit, but i am really annoyed i can not customize anything (or at least update maps...). Since i have not such an experience, what unit do you suggest me? Is 910BT flexible enough? Is it possible to load other navigation programs in it or is it easy to find updated maps? What about 920BT? Thanks!

i "solved" the problem, that was a very stupid thing... though on the website there was written to burn the update cd as an image, this way didn't work, at least for me. all i had to do was to open the .iso image as an archive and copy the content inside a data-cd mode1 project with nero. burned it ad update started smooth.

just to be sure... these maps are for america only or also for europe?

this is too bad... so, i guess, there is no chance to load into the unit another software (like, for instance, the one for avic900) which gives more flexibility, is it?

Hi all, is there a way to change hd3-ii (z3) main theme? I mean the graphics icons are displayed with? Or at least color? My unit (i guess all as well...) has these bluish icons and i'd like to know if there is a way to change them. Best.

Hi everybody, i am a new possessor if an avic HD3-II unit. I downloaded from pioneer site the "AVIC Gracenote database Update" and the "AVIC-HD3-II HDD application update", followed instructions and burned them into (two different) CDs. Once i insert cd inside cdrom, though, the unit says something like "cd inside device" but update process doesn't start. Can anyone give me some hints? Thanks! -update: i tried completely reset the device, then insert firmware update cd, but still it says "cd inserted" without update to begin. does your update went smooth? is there any particular way

please up! nobody knows anything about new european maps? it looks like eurepean hd3 community does not exist...
