  1. Makes sense, I never have an SD card in hence the reboots. Note that I do not reboot in testmode after exiting, and never did. It looks good Chuck, thanks. Note the hard keys are not fully functional and that is why I took out the AEkmapscan and AEKmap launch upon start (CwGoPrimo.mscr). Your volume control will work, but only Primo's volume control (eg. main units volume is set to 10 of 20, Primo volume 100%, the dial will not increase the main volume above 10 of 20). It is also buggy when pressing the Map or Menu buttons while in AV (Pimo screen or Main Menu screen come up, but
  2. I updated the download in post #1. If you had a previous version of Primo 1.2, all you need are the files from the previous post. The file is now <100 MB (not including the TTS files) Chuck, I added the old ui_pioneer files to for now (you mentioned the bmp files were missing from the files you provided earlier), just until you finish updating you autolaunch. If you prefer I can remove them and direct people to your post/thread to obtain the files there.
  3. OK so long as it works the hardkeytest works I won't worry about changing it. The Mortscript v4.2 now auto-closes shortly after opening (via a sendOK command). This should be it (I hope). Can you think of anything else? planBandButtons09.22.11.rar
  4. I put 5 seconds just to be safe, if 3 works then I will change it. By crashing on exit do you mean the unit rebooting? Mine always did. The only changes to the sys.txt were that I added were the Keybind commands and [power] powermgm_state="1" skip_suspend_process_all="1" which may be the culprit. I don't think that part is necessary. The hard keys still work after the program crashes because only it's launch is required (to allow Primo and AEKMap to bind the keys), and leaving it running would server no purpose. I will test a close command on it instead of killing it. Thanks for
  5. Darn, it seems we are experiencing different behavior on different units. Weird with the reboots, I never even had that happen once. My hard keys are working flawlessly! I can confirm that Run ("\My Flash Disk\APL2\Primo\Primo.exe" ) will launch if Primo if not yet done , and maximize if it is. That command is in several places (CwGoPrimko.mscr, showprimo.mscr, HardKeyTest, button.exe config). I cannot confirm that it is a better methed then show("navi") for maximizing Primo. After reading your post regarding reboots and memory errors, I think the show command is safer. Can you te
  6. Well here it is, hopefully the last update. Can you try it out and let me know how everything works? If so then I will attach it to post #1 (and clean up the post). What is included: - Button included in the Top Menu Screen at the top right which brings you back to Primo. - HardKeyTest, which can be run from External Programs (in Primo's Quick Menu). It takes hard key control from Pioneer/main menu and gives them to Primo. It is labeled "test" because you can try it and decide where you want the keys mapped to Pioneer (default) or Primo. For GPS use only, I prefer it mapped to Primo
  7. Maybe try delete \Primo\save\route.dat and restart? Did you delete and reinstall the Primo folder at any point (try this second)? edit: I see there is a command in the sys.txt which reads: [utility] calibratefix=0 ; ; If gps signal don't lost write - "0"; if lost write "1" Maybe try change it to 1 if you still can't get it to work.
  8. Do you get a GPS fix in Chuck's mod? Is the screenshot you posted in post #13 the same problem you are having now?
  9. Well, one last update then gonna update the main download in post #1 after I test everything on a clean install of My Flash Disk. Hard button control is now optional, you can try them out by downloading the file below and launching the "HardKeyTest" through external programs (in the quick menu). Make sure to rescan programs so it shows up. It seems Primo and Pioneer don't play nice together and the buttons can only used by one or the other. If you launch "HardKeyTest" you will lose default functionality of the buttons (main volume control, next song, ect), but gain use of the buttons insid
  10. Indeed I did, they were part of PlanB. Reinstalled your package and it is working. So to be clear, Chuck's ui_pioneer should be reinstalled for those who put the old planB on after. The new planB with no ui_pioneer files is below. Removed
  11. Oops, it was already on my unit so it worked when I tested it. Fixed! Now I am getting a FFGUI error when turning on the unit with autolaunch Primo selected. It reads: FFUIERROR: Unknown object identifier. Identifier=(sc_CwPrimoAutoLaunch) Script "st_navigatemap_init" command 18 Weird, it worked fine the 1st time.
  12. Well, since the hard buttons are buggy we will move on to plan B until they are fixed. Copy the file below onto your unit and an icon will appear in the top right of the Top Menu which will bring you back to Primo. AEKMap is disabled, for now. See post #85 for new files, if this was installed after Chuck's autolaunch package it will generate errors. It so, reinstall his ui_pioneer and it will work.
  13. You mean the Map button doesn't bring you back to Primo from the Main Menu? It should, it does on mine. The AEKmap will launch the "showmainmenu" mortscript file on a menu press and "showprimo" on a map press. For some reason it doesn't maximize Primo when in AV, just from the top menu (AV superseds all?). Oddly, it does go to Primo from the AV if the run explorer command is present in the CwGoPrimo.mscr. I just hate seeing explorer briefly between screen change. Make sure you are at the Top Menu screen then press Map, it will work! Edit: Autolaunch works great, thank you Chuck!
  14. The menu looks identical to the Russian mod. I'll bet they modded it to Italian. I tried the Russian mod yesterday and it would be hands down the best mod... if I was Russian. So far as I know no one converted it to English yet. Any idea where to find the mod in the video?
  15. The restoreprimo and restoremainmeu both are set to minimize AV, but it doesn't work. I find when I launch the wincetm.exe and go to the AV Source menu it maximizes and will not let me see the process that is running (the process may be closing when I exit the AV Source). If it is AV, it doesn't listen to a minimize command How are your buttons now, can you get back to Primo from the Top Menu OK?
  16. It still won't let me PM you! The following errors were found The member Chuck88 cannot receive any new messages Am I on your PM block list for asking too many questions? (hehe) Well, here it goes anyways. A few things to note, I thought I had button control from both AV and Primo but is turns out it is one or the other. In other words, the joystick/volume knob control song/volume, ect rather then tilt/zoom in Primo. Also, for some reason the map button only brings you back to Primo from the Top Menu, not AV. Too bad! You will have to go back to the top menu via soft keys,
  17. And? I am aware of the Russian mod. It seems no one has gotten it converted to English yet. Post is here for those interested: http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/29915-look-this-mod/ , also http://avic411.com/i...ware-to-english Edit: Thanks, link added to post #1, looks like a very impressive mod. Gotta try it out sometime soon!
  18. Well, I have got all the hard buttons working both inside and out of Primo; the Map button brings you back to Primo and the Menu button brings you to the stock Top Menu. I am having some stability issues while playing music, however. I will try it out for a bit before posting. If you would like to test it shoot me a PM and I will send it to you, I just don't want to provide a file that crashes everyone's units!
  19. For me AEKMapScan is the most valuable extension yet! After running it Primo can see the hard buttons which are labeled in the sys.txt. If it is not running the Pioneer shell will not pass the buttons through to Primo, making them impossible to use. To have a working map button, volume dial, zoom in/out, ect. is invaluable! Once we can get the main menu button to bring us back to Primo, I will map the menu button to minimize Primo and show the Top Menu. I can verify that with the proper command it minimizes Primo (xC4 = "MINIMIZE"). After all the hard keys are working we can have Primo a
  20. Weird, I commented the AEKMapScan lines back in and have no reboots. Just curious, why do you have 3 lines to kill ezrider? Maybe killing 3 of the same process at once causes instability? kill ("ezrider") kill ("ezrider.exe") kill ("iGo8") I just use kill("ezrider") and it kills iGo8 with it. On another note, it seems that when I run AEKMapScan it allows Primo to see the buttons upon launch but they will no longer while in Top Menu and AV. For my f500bt it is fine as I don't use it for music, but would not having buttons available when out of Primo an issue for other units?
  21. Wierd, I can't find where to set the price of gas anywhere! Just taking a guess, but if you go back to the default skin you can set it from "green settings" and then go back to the newest skin (GJ 10.0).
  22. Thank you for your contribution! I will try it out tomorrow. Not sure where to change price of gasoline, I will post back when I find it.
  23. Do you mean Primo 1.1? GJ_AK v3 10.0 is the latest and is similar to the one that came with the old Primo 1.1 version. Two things I noticed that maybe weren't improvements, no more home/work/village buttons and minimum zoom is 500 m. I liked 350 m on 1.1 but am getting used to the change. It is worth using 1.2 IMHO. The hardware buttons didn't respond in 1.1 and the new voices are welcome after listening to the 80s robot sounding Samantha. Mine always rebooted after exiting, I thought it was normal. I haven't noticed any other memory issues, it has run rock solid since first ins
  24. Well, the buttons are working when launching in Chuck's mod through the download below. It turns out AEKMapScan relinquishes control from MainMenu and Primo then sees them. Now when you tap the Primo icon AESMapScan launches and closes before Primo launches which allows it to see and use the buttons. Note the Menu hard button isn't mapped just yet, when we figure out a way to get back to Primo from the Top Menu it will Minimize Primo. I have also included the 30 and 60 second main menu files. To use them, go to settings, customize quick menu, and add external programs in a slot. Launc
  25. !!! You got me, sorry I mixed up the two. Schemes are what the day/night maps look like and Skins are the interface (much larger files). You can download any Skin and put them in the Skin folder (make sure they are compatible with Primo 1.2). With Schemes, you change them through map settings, and skins through display in settings.
