i need help. i got through all of the steps. i did all them successfully. when everything was done with the backups loading on to the unit i restarted it. when i restarted it, it loads up and on the splash screen it has a message pop up saying application program database not found. i donno what i am doing wrong

alright so i got my unit to finally work and i tried to do the update. half way through the update it stopped working. i tried to restart the unit, tried to reset and also do the reset+eject+menu+map and nothing works. the fan starts up but nothing shows on the screen. the lights on the buttons dont even light up. plz someone help if you can. i tried searching for this but i didnt find anyone with the same problem. i have the f700bt and was trying to update to 2.8

hello, i was trying to do a mod to my unit. the mod turned the map different colors, changed the menu layout. when i was putting the new files on, everything loaded on fine. i tried rebooting my system to see how it turned out and it doesnt work. the unit turns on and about 2 minutes later it reboots itself. in the two minutes i can only play a cd because the "please wait for loading" screen does not go off. i also do not have a copy of the old files. i was wondering if anyone could give me a copy of the files or tell me how to fix it. plz help!
