  1. Still having the issue. I have just been dealing with it and figured I'd check back to see if anything has changed. To reflect, I have the problem with and without the relay harness. My work around has been to turn my headlights on manually every time I get in so I don't have to deal with it. Normally during the day it wouldn't be an issue but when I put it in reverse it cycles the lights for a second and causes the issue, so i have just been turning on my lights all the time.
  2. I tried calling Pioneer but they just told me it was my PAC adapters...
  3. 2008 Chevrolet Silverado Duramax Crew Cab LTZ with Dual Batteries.
  4. I just added the relay, it didn't have a relay to begin with and it still had the issue. Added the relay and nothing has changed.
  5. I'm not sure what that would do for me. I lose sound on the unit the moment my Low Beams are turned on. I hear a *click* when the hids come on and the sound of the stereo immediately goes off. I can have the motor off and ignition in ACC and turn the stereo on, then manually turn the low beams on and immediately lose sound. Same thing with the motor running. If the lights come on before the stereo, like at night when they are always gonna be on, I have no issues. If I turn the lights off or remove the DRL fuse then I have no issues during the day either. It's the moment the HIDs come on
  6. I had the problem with no relay harness, my HIDs were running off the factory system. So I installed the relay hoping it would help. So if I was having the issue with no relay installed, then it must not just be from the relay.
  7. My HIDs didn't have a relay harness, so I added one. Problem still exists. No issue with the HIDs in my fog lights, just my low beams.
  8. Got a relay harness off ebay, installed it, issue is still there. I have HIDs in my low beams and in my fogs, but the fogs have no affect on the stereo, just my low beams. Very annoyed.
  9. Having the same issue on an Avic z120bt, with aftermarket HIDs on a 2008 Silverado Crew Cab. I do have an aftermarket amp, AQ1200 amp.
  10. As I figured the update didn't fix anything. Doesn't seem to be happening as often, but it's still happening.
  11. I may have just been lucky so far but I went out earlier and did the 2.003 software update and it hasn't done it since. Granted I haven't driven very far but enough where before it would of happened 3 or 4 times. Turning lights on and off, brights on and off. May have just gotten lucky so far but it hasn't happened since the software update....
  12. Ok, thank you very much for the information. If I find anything new I'll post it.
  13. So as long as my HID's are on its going to cause this problem unless I can figure out a way to get a different harness? That does not sound like an easy fix. I don't understand how that affects the volume, that is just strange. Thanks for the information.
