    Did anyone manage to hack the Z series so we can get the VR to work on teh F series?

    Well I have been led to believe from the moderator of the site, that if they find the hack for Z series then this could be applied to the f series. Therefore, you should in theory be able to hack the VR feature

    Parking brake is ON.Phone is paired. But the section is still greyed out!!!!

    I am trying to see if i can upgrade the BT software. But the setting button is greyed out. Any ideas on how to enable this feature cheers

    Hi All I was wondering if I purchased the x920bt will it work in europe and how would i get the european maps on to the unit. The reason for going for this model instead of the F290BT (European spec) is the VR facility.

    Not holding my breath .... but any progress on hacking the z series? How will this apply to the X series

    Does this imply that if you follow the procedure in this post you will be able to hack the european f920bt model and able features such as voice recognition which has been left out

    If that's the case and the difference is not in firmware but the software then it most be possible to hack the sofwtare to activate the VR feature. Are there any glowing developers out there that cna help

    Well I installed the latest firmware for the X920BT model on my F920 unit. It works fine but the voice recognition feature is STILL disabled even though the files for the feature have been installed onto the unit

    Did anybody get the voice recognition feature working? The 920BT has the Parrot CK5050+ module which does provide voice recognition ability. This has been confirmed on the Parrot site. So it must be a software restriction which is stopping the VR feature being enabled in the europen models. Any developments guys?
