i still have a brand new d1 i can sell for just a little more than that. what cabling do you need?

no need if no camera, in fact if you hook it up you'll get that annoying caution message evey time you go in reverse

you can use the d2 hardware, i've even used it to mount eclipse units in vw's

you are right about turning on the camera input. to put up camera image manually you ave to y jacck the camera rca to one of the video inputs of the unit

you cant shut off repeat on the cd ib 100. if you leave it on repeat all it doesnt really cause a problem, you just gotta live with it

the cd 1200 is faster, you can hold down button to scroll thru pages on touch screens

he doesnt know what he's doing, i've done it three times in the last five days. works fine when you ground both wires. make sure you move mute wire to the right pin

it overrides any limitations

any functions possible of unit. what part arent you understanding. bypass makes unit think you are parked , so it does not prohibit any functions

bypass lets you do anything you want

you can do everythig but watch dvd or choose destination while driving
