sorry for the double post. i found out my problem. i accidently ground the guide on wire which is also yellow and black. thanks gurus.

updated disc 1000hd gone wrong!!!! i had a post june z1 with two wire mod. just to make sure the two wire mod is the mute wire switch to the other pin then grounded as well as the parking brake wire. right? well i had the orginal maps and it seems like the mods works fine when i was driving around. then i installed and updated disc that i got from pioneer. legit. then it took over 3hrs to update. once updated it the maps look great. but once i started to drive pass 5 mph the parking brake installed incorrectly message popped up. and now my bypass does not work if im moving. how can i get my by

just got my 1000hd disc today, i got the password and am loading the disc but the database takes 3 hrs and so far its been 1hr. then its gonna take like another 20 mins for system update. ill have to finish throughout the week. question? i guess i cant sell the disc after i use it? because i had to go to pioneer site and register the media# with the device# to get the PW to update. well if anyone wants to buy it ill sell it once im done updating.

theres so many different threads kinda hard to track down the right one. but anyways, i have a z1 post july with a 2 wire mod. i also have cndv 1000hd disc on order. its on back order by the way. but when i do get it will it mess up my bypass? i also wanted to update my gracenote, will that also mess up my bypass. im confuse about disabling the security and stuff like that. all i know is everything is how it was out the box beside the 2 wire mods. thanks gurus.
