1. I have two Z1s in both my MBenz....one with the Ducatiboy flasher unit and the other with the ground method...Bluetooth on both that I hardly ever use for the all the above reasons. I periodically check the site to see if I can learn anything and of course i did again...Thanks to all. After wasting four CDs trying to burn the ISO file...I finally got it by double-clicking on the file and my DVD Decrypter open. I click the icon for burn to DVD (with a regular CD in the drive) and it worked. I loaded it onto the Z1 like the instructions posted, after doing the level 3 reset. I hav
 2.
Search for worldwide-sounds on ebay. He's from Portugal, but speaks English. 86 Euros.
Hey Monkey! You're right...i did find it on google worldwide for 86 euro...$114 dollars...much cheaper than the effing canbus that don't work.
 3.
I don't believe there is one. But you can try it on the ML, if it works then get another one. It works for the W203.
Great point. How much does the unit cost? I tried googling the unit and every site was a non-english site... ?
 4.
Should be using PIONEER CA-R-PI.131. I believe it only works for the W203 though.
Great...i'll check it out. what about the ML350? Plus, I have 2 canbus02 at over $200 a piece...don't know if I want to spend much more unless I can sell the Canbus I have (lower price of course)
 5.
I have a 2004 C32 (W203) and I used a Pioneer CAN bus adapter made specifically for the W203, and it works perfect. I got it on fleabay from some guy in Portugal.
I also have the CANBUS02 and it didn't work for me. Maybe my connections are incorrect. Maybe my CANBUS is incorrect. Could you let me know what specific model canbus or how you had it installed?
 6.
http://www.sminntech.com/z1flash.html Yes, if your second is a June or older unit, then you would need another bypass circuit. If it's a July or newer then you can just ground 2 wires. The instructions are in that link. That's a tough one. I guess I would send it back to the factory. If the dealer won't take it I would ship it back. That sucks, but that's what happens sometimes with less than reputable dealers.
Thanks...
 7. Well...after having my initial Z1 with the Dboy bypass, I had to get another z1 for my other ride. So, I came back to see what needs to be done...I thought i was gonna buy another bypass...but if i'm reading correctly, I only need to do the bypass that was effective for the D1 (is that correct?) Which is listed on the SMinnTech site...? Regarding my first Z1, it has the back up camera issue and can't get a fix...any ideas anyone? I spoke to Rocky from Pioneer and he noted that the dealer should take it back...but they wont. They are telling me to send it to some factory in Ohio..
 8. I never thought about that...It's actually a good idea to have it repaired instead of a new unit with the same problem. Then again, could the new unit have this bug fixed? I will see what happens...
 9.
If you didn't notice, I think I have the fix. No pulsing needed I belive. http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1592
Oh no, good sir...I dare say you are mistaken. I don't need a bypass...I am a proud owner of the ducatiboy flasher...got it when it was $25. I even posted that I think it was worth more. When I said "a little off topic" I meant my post was off topic. I just found it ironic that when I called Pioneer today regarding my reverse cam not showing any picture, I used
 10. Interesting reading fellahs! a little off topic...but I spoke to a manager at Pioneer today and he was well aware of this site.... No big deal...I think they monitor it to see what kinds of problems people are having... Oh well...back to your discussions, boys... Keep up the good work.
 11. Now my back up cam is not showing anything. Called Pioneer and spoke to Mike...took him a while to comprehend what the problem was. It seems as if he was trying to talk me out of what i knew to be the problem. Finally, he acknowledged the problem and told me to have the dealer replace it. I asked for either his extension or the first initial of his last name and he refused. So I asked to be transferred to a manager. I received a voicemail. I subsequently left a message for the Manager, Rocky. I then called my dealer and told him what Pioneer said. My dealer noted he would call
 12.
I am in NYC with the version 60 dvds. Let me know if someone needs a copy. All I ask is for the cost of the dual layer dvds, or just swap me 2 blank dual layer dvds for the copies i give you :)
I'm in South Jersey...Deptford. I do need a copy of the East. I will gladly reimburse you for the help. Let me know how we can hook up to do this...
 13. I have experienced the same problem where my back up will work in one instance, then don't in another. I don't think it has anything to do with the wires being bent. One unit, as it was being installed by my installer didn't work at all. We used both a Pioneer and non-pioneer cam and the results were the same. However, when we routed through the AV, it worked...conclusion...not camera. I don't want to send a unit to be repair...I want an completely new unit. So, I'll call the place where I bought mine and see if they'll replace it. I hope...
 14. I actually heard the same thing. However, the only thing it would work is the volume. If we could program the phone buttons to work the BT then i'd be interested... However, I really don't think it is a major thing at this point. I'm more interested in knowing if your 3D hybrid is working. If so, what did you do to get it to work?
 15.
I just went to PAC's website and I was certainly dissapointed. Apparently neither swi-ps nor swi-x works with ANY Mercedes-Benz. Does anyone knows what would be another solution to use the steering wheel controls? I have a Mercedes C203 Coupe ('02)
Yeah...use the pioneer steering remote...your benz has fibre optics and I haven't yet found anything to fix the prob...
