thats what i tried to do when i first got it... and it did not work... I did howerver force it down once when i couldnt get it open... maybe thats what i get for buying stuf off the open box table from BestBuy...

Is there something Im missing here? When i push my eject button only the CD drive will show but it wont go any lower to put in the Map DVD. I have to really push down on the screen when it is semi open to go down so i can access the DVD Rom slot... Is this the way they all are? Im afraid of breaking the thing...
