3. You are correct sir. What sucks is this Samsung phone only lets me send one contact at a time and any contacts that have multiple phone numbers become multiple entries. What a joke. Ray
4. OK, this is wierd. I have a Samsung mm-a900 paired to my Z1, makes and receives calls fine. As soon as I select "receive business card" on the Z1 the bluetooth disconnects from the phone. As soon as I select cancel(receiving the business card) on the Z1 bluetooth reconnects. Anyone have a similar experience? Ray
5.
So has anybody figured out what size pic you need to fill the entire screen on the Z1? I dont want to waste any more discs till I know lol
Manual says the screen is 2592 X 1944 pixels
6. I want that woman to talk faster. I mean sweet jesus, I'll be there before I'm done entering the destination!
7. when I try to pair my Samsung A900 to my Z1 it asks for a pin, anyone know what that I am supposed to enter? nevermind found it.
8. Won't deal with 6th ave again I don't think. And definitely won't deal with Peter Corpuz. That's the guy I spoke to last Thursday when I ordered my Z1. Made a good deal Ii think 1787.30 for the z1, the bt unit, the sirius unit, the ipod module and the wire harness adapter for my car. This guy assured me it was in stock and would ship on Friday, but he was going to "try" to get it out that day. So by Monday I had not reeceived a ship notification so I shot him an email asking if my order had shipped. No reply. emailed again Tuesday no reply. Called him, no answer, left message. Then Wednesday I
9. Perfect. That's exactly what I want to do. Thanks for the info and the links. Ray
10. I think extended warranties are a scam and a waste of money. Here's my logic. First your paying up front for a warranty that doesn't even go into effect for a year. Second, 3rd party warranty companies are notorious for finding some reason why your repair isn't covered. And if you intend to do anything like messing with the hard drive, once the genius' around here get it cracked(can't wait), you can kiss your warranty goodbye if they have some way to detect that. Third, I doubt I'll have the same unit in 6 years. By then I'll have the one thats the size of an eraser and projects a 3d ima
11. I've seen this thing before. It appears that it takes your wired control and converts the signals from it into a IR signal, like a TV remote which is then pointed at the face of the Z1. Is that correct? What I want to do hard wire the remote on the steering wheel that goes to the stock head unit and splice them into the wired remote input on the Z1. has anyone done that? Thanks, Ray
12. I see in the installation manual there is an input for a wired remote control. Is there a way to connect the radio controls that are built into my steering wheel on my 350Z to control the Z1 or is that only for a remote sold by Pioneer? Ray
