How did this work out for you? I'm having a similar problem on my '05 Scion xB. I suspected I just needed better grounding and I think I'll be trying that first. I've heard that year and model was given a questionable grounding connection.

Sounds pretty simple, actually. The constant battery power isn't connecting. Did you get the proper wiring harness? They are each a bit different by brand and have directions that work like a learning tree. The right harness saves time and frustration.

I had an issue with my iPhone4 keeping paired, but it didn't have the same symptoms. After updating the firmware on my 920 and resetting my iPhone (shutting down completely and restarting), the problem cleared up. Since then, it's been working like a charm.
