Do you or anyone know the max # of songs it can store? my Sportser4 can handle 20 songs and or artists.

you might wanna search for circuitcity on this forum. They do an install for $159 (? i think). I don't have any experience with them but that's a pretty good start point before they tack things on.... Car Audio Heaven off Clairmont Mesa (next to Cheetah's *gentlemens club*) is run by a bunch of tools. They will match the crutchfield prices for components but instantly jack up the install price to ~$350.

It would kinda suck if there was no difference between the two units. No difference except a $50 mark up.

I see you busted out the 10.2MP camera for this project It looks perfect. How long did the install take you? I'm a complete novice and i'm unsure whether I should avoid the $300 install hit that my local shop wants.

Yeah, I wish the Garmin played movies too. If you want to watch movies on a 3.5" lcd, you might have very low standards. I think this thread pertains to navigation.

Guess we know which one you're getting... Not really. I'm no Garmin Fanboi. For $800 the D3 + BT + Sirius + USB could be worthwhile.

that's pretty lame if the brand new D3 can't do street names that a $350 Garmin will do.

Does the sirius module allow for favorite alerts? I have the Sirius Sportster and one the biggest features in my opinion is the fact that it will alert me when one of my pre-selected favorite artists or songs is about to start on any sirius station. Thanks!
