i did mine that way and it works fine, infact all my decks i did that way. the damn trim is my problem right now..lol

why not just ground everything on the wiring harness?

well on my car i have to use it, so i might have to trim it down a bit or something but i'm just woundering how the ppl that used it got it on theirs?

well i'm not sure which wire exactly it goes too, so i'm going to run it near the ECU, and when i get my alarm installed, i'll ask them to hook it up. and no i'm not lazy..lol

how did you guys put on your Pioneer trim? i don't see any clips or 2 way tape or anything. thanks

first i wanted to say i've had a lot of pioneer indash units, and i just came accross this site and its very impressive, i wish i knew about this earlier. anyway, i just got the Avic D3. my main concern is this, i don't want to hook up the Pink wire, which is the Speed Sensor wire for the Navi. so my main question is that is this wire necessary to be hooked up? will my navi work fine without it? thanks.
