DAMN U PICO FUSE!!

Well, I answered my own question in part because I found a manual which gives you some installation instructions here: http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/Manuals/130/130AVICD3.PDF but I still have not found out why the display is locking up. I have the bypass set up by grounding the mute and parking brake wire. I am leaning toward a grounding issue but still not sure why the display is reading "off" and buttons will not function.

I recently had to rewire my system trying to eliminate some engine noise and I am having issues rewiring. Is there a wiring diagram somewhere I can look at? Can't find one anywhere... The problem I am having is the display will activate but when I turn the ignition off and on, the display will just read off and none of the buttons will function. Has anyone seen this or know of a solution?

Is it still connecting ok for you? Did you have to do anything special to get it to connect? I haven't tried it yet since I don't have the Droid yet but want to make sure it works before I get it.

So, does it work or not. We have some conflicting information on here and I'm sure someone out there has tried it. I am really torn between getting this phone or being forced with another one because of the bluetooth issue. If it doesn't work now, is it possible that a fix will come out in the future that will allow it to connect? Anyone?

What about the Bold 9700? I see you guys got the original bold 9000 to connect so is it safe to assume the new bold will work as well?? Has anyone tried it?

ran across this ... . http://www.cellular-store.com/categorybluetooth.aspx ... states that the droid is opp capable which is prob the reason it paired. can anyone else confirm that the other features are not available. would like to get this phone. is there an actual list somewhere out there that lists actual compatible phones other than the other thread on here? conflicting info out there.

It seems like the sir-pnr2 has been discontinued and I am getting mixed compatiblity answers as to whether the sir-pnr2 will actually work with this unit and if the replacement (CD-SB10 + SCC1) will work either. Can anyone give me a model number of a satellite tuner that will work with this radio?

That's the one I have been trying but it freezes up and does not fully load. I've tried it on 2 pc's so far. I need another link if possible.

Just wondering if anyone has tried getting the Centro to connect using the B2B200. I think I read somewhere that the phone supports push/pull. Is that all that is required?

Let me rephrase: Say you are listening to all of your songs on your ipod and a song comes up by GNR and you want to hear other songs on that album. Can you do that?

Is there anyway to select more songs from a certain album when you hear the selection? For example, if you have all of your songs on shuffle and a certain song comes up from a certain artist, can you hear more from that album? I have been trying but can't figure out a way to do it. I have an IPOD hooked up.

Is there anywayt to replace that audio file with the beep/static. I have the same issue as well as probably everyone else. I used to refer to it as "white noise" but it makes sense that they used a screwed up sound file! We gotta find a way to hack into the D3 and replace that audio file.

I have the POI overlay setup so I can see fast food chains, restaurants, gas stations etc as the small icons on my screen. My question is, can you select those points of interest for information on them by clicking on them. Clicking with you finger is not very accurate. Should you use that little plastic pen they ship with the product? I think one of the complaints on this board was that you could not select a POI by distance. I don't know if this relates to that issue or not.

hey, the vss is behind the dash behind the white ac box. it is the white wire with grey line in it. the reverse wire is behind the driver seat. blue wire with grey. check my350z.com also.

zoomzoom: If you return the D3, do you know if you have to also return the "free" stuff that came with it such as the camera, cables, etc? I am also considering making this move. I got the camera, install kits, and other pioneer stuff with the deal and I am wondering how this will work. Any idea before I call CF?

Turn on your lights. It should go into night mode if its set to nighttime in the settings. Of course your illumination wire must be hooked up.

I feel your pain. I asked and asked and asked but got no response. So...I did it the old way, by trial and error. So, I will share with you the right way to do it. The manual is confusing. Create a CD-R with a PICTURES folder. In that folder, put up to 20 images in JPEG format. That's it. Simple. Go to the NAVI menu, system options, background settings, and choose import from disk. Put in your disk and it should work. GL

Figured it out. You CAN record to a CD with JPEG images. you just have to be SURE that there is a /PICTURES folder with <20 jpeg files and that the full size of the disk is >1.8 MEGS thats it. Simple. Done.

R U Sure? That's not what the manual states. The manual for the D series (D3) says that you can burn jpeg images to a CD or DVD and it should read it.
