  1. i have the same problem. it seems like it only happens when its really hot in the car. like if i park my car at work and leave it while the sun beats down on my car along with the unit. when its cold, or at night Z1 works for me all the time, how can we prevent unit from getting so hot? i usually turn on my a/c because my a/c vent is right above my unit. (2000 honda civic)
  2. so i read in the owners manual..the screen is suppose to go out after 10,000 miles then we call the pioneer guys. what exactly are they going to do for us if our screens go out after 10,000 miles? replace it for us? and another question..i dont turn off my z1 when i turn off my car, i just let the z1 turn off as the car turns off. and when i start it back up the z1 starts as my car starts...is that bad for the z1? would it be safer to turn on/off the z1 as i turn on/off my car? one last question, my air vents are right above my z1. if i turn on my heater at night, i feel like im gon

  7. i used to work in the audio industry..but not anymore. but i heard that for the units made AFTER july or was it june..i dunno..but for those that were made AFTER one of those months, u can get the secondary WHITE harness (the white harness that doesnt have every slot taken) and plug a wire into one of the empty slots and ground it. if you are looking at the harness with the wires facing your way and the clip on top..the bottom right slot will be empty. take a wire from the harness that you are not using and put it into that empty slot. Now im not 100% sure if this works because i got a
