RS1800

Hi Having only got this unit 3 weeks ago and putting 3.3(now3.4) on it I have just about learned my way round it and can do most things I want to. I sort of wish I used it before installing this mod as I don't know which bits this mod added! Anyway all is good apart from TMC doesn't seem to work at all. When I click TMC via quick menu it shows a blue dot to the left of the 'TMC present' bar showing no signal I guess. When I go in to settings it shows TMC type, protocol and baud rate which are set to auto and there is a button to detect settings and if I try that it cycles through TMC t

I don't think so. What do they look or sound like?

Same here and I'm also in UK in case EU is the issue. Also when I select Tom-tom colour scheme (I didn't add it so must be standard) Navi locks up?

Hi Alex Now I've tried again I can get to that screen but its a digital speedo. I am sure when I first loaded it I got an analogue speedo - Found now in user menu I dont do much driving really but it seems really good so far warning me of all speed cameras, showing signs, speed limits etc. One more question, I note many people refer to TMC but I've never had that. Can I get it in the UK and is it any good? I have turned on in the menu but it says TMC hardware not found? Cheers edit: found quick menu

Ahh that makes sense as my current speed sign seems to have disappeared. I was pressing everything else lol Ill have a look through those menus tomorrow and try to get there as well as get current speed back. thanks ps. I find it quite amusing I had no problems getting all these mods on with no issues after a day of owning but cant work out what some simple buttons do

ok no problem, ill have a hunt around later. The problem I have is that I never used it as standard so don't even know what it did lol!

Hi 1st post I bought new car on Saturday with f900 in it and found this site which has been great. So far I have updated with fx3.1 then installed your 3.3 tonight. Only issue I had was green box at end which isn't mentioned but seemed to install ok. My question is is there a guide to what does what. I keep finding cool screens and switches but can't find them again lol. I have read all this thread but must admit I haven't checked the v2 thread if there is a guide there ?
