I wouldn't have thought it had anything to do with the bypass either, but the Pioneer tech assured me that it was the cause. He said "for whatever reason" the AVIC decks will determine the emergency brake isn't connected correctly & begins to not function correctly because of it. To be honest, the deck has been in my Jeep since the day those units originally shipped, so that's been at least a solid two years, right?

My first post, so i hope you all don't mind helping. I had Nebraska Furniture Mart install an F-90BT into my Jeep Liberty (I know, whats a furniture store installing a car stereo for, well they do). About 2 months ago the screen stopped functioning while driving. The map & menu buttons are very faintly lit with a dim purple glow. I can sometimes get it to turn on when it's in reverse & i hit the map button, it then stays on, but it's always dimmer than normal (as if the dimmer senses my dash lights are on). I called Pioneer out of frustration and the tech said it was due to the Mar
