You could try to go into the test mod and force it to do a reinstall, maybe that will fix your issue. To get into the test mode you hold mode and hit volume up, volume down, volume up, volume down and so on. There is a option on the first screen that will enable you to force a reinstall of the files from the update.

be-careful with maxing out you upstream, if you do it will lag you downstream speed because it will take longer for your computer to upload its request from the network, so it can download what you are browsing or downloading.

filesonic will work but you will need to use a program like winrar to break it up into chunks smaller then 400MB

Like I said they need to have a semi fast upload connection (namely a Comcast cable IP because they have upwards of 2mbps, most dsl connections have upload speeds around 300-400kbps unless you have a business class connection)

I would even throw like 20 in to get it. The only question who would we have collect the money and upload it. we need someone we can all trust and with a fast upload connection. so that counts me out because my connection is limited to 384k upload. any people come to mind anyone?

I have the HTC EVO shift and it also worked with my friends HTC phone, i wanna say Hero but i think its a different phone. And yes i we are talking about the same thing when i connect via Bluetooth and in the media menu and i select Bluetooth as my source i can control what song is playing and it shows what song is playing. the HTCs media player, i can't seem to get the controls to work with any other media player. I don't know where you get your infomation from but when i sync my phone and my z120 via Bluetooth, I do see what songs are playing and i am able to fast forward, rewind, change tracks, pause and play when i use my Bluetooth connection. If you can't it has nothing to do with the android operating system it has to do with the phone's hardware, the Bluetooth chip in the phone doesn't support it. and as far as i understand AVRCP was added to the Android OS version 1.5.
