  1. iPhones are for people who are not technically inclined. That's why they work with all of the popular HU's out there. Closed source, every app costs money, you wait for months for a software fix/upgrade from apple as opposed to hours for a fix from the open source Android community.   2. I have had ZERO issues with my 930 nav. So far I like everything about it except the crappy little volume knob, but I absolutely LOATHE volume buttons so from that perspective, this is acceptable. The unit sounds good, is fast, reliable, nav is accurate, no lag, no issues so far. My antennae is in clear sky on the dash.
  3. Welcome, I have an EVO and the X930BT as well, so far I love everything about it. I was worried after I purchased it that the nav would be less than tolerable, but so far I have been more than pleased with it. No issues whatsoever. That being said, I do not have any idea about how to get HDMI out to the HU but will keep looking to this thread for updates should you find a solution. I have found AVIC411 to be a bit underwhelming, there does not seem to be a lot of users contributing lately so we might be waiting a while for an update.
